This guitar sounds nice with the onboard 498T/490R pickups.. They have a nice kick

Beautiful guitar. But you failed to highlight its best feature….the sound! The mini Humbuckers have a sound all of their own, still noise canceling but brighter and a bit more articulate than the full size versions.
