A *Productive* Day in the Life of a PA STUDENT | Studying for 6+ Hours

I have four exams coming this Friday, April 9th and many of you wonder how I manage my time studying for these four exams. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video! Like if you can relate to your energy level dwindling down as the day goes by haha. You can definitely see that in this video.

how much head and neck anatomy is in this? i want to study head anatomy specifically, is it useful? thanks :)
No solo es medica sino que tambien artista profesional
I really enjoyed this
... 33 years ago i studied biology in school... right now i am non-medic professional... did those colored picture represent the real colors in inside our body or its just authors imagination. i love to learn about the anatomy & physiology ... i think the netters flash card will help me know it parts-name-where its located .... initially don't want to get involved in theory part of the subject... once i know where those parts-name ... gradually will learn in detail
Hey, Brianna! I didn’t know that you had a TH-cam channel. I do NOT miss those didactic year days! Miss you!
I wonder if iPad 10.2 can do the same or not?
Hello, please can you talk about your direct patient hours? What experiences do you have, and roughly how many hours did you have?
So your PA school provides housing? I’ve always wondered this!
What was your interview like with each school?
Do u get straight a’s in pa school?
Hey Bri, out of curiosity, was the Anki worth it? Did it get overwhelming as the cards added up with the pace of school?
this is such a great video! I'm applying this cycle and I turn 20 in June, I have so many similar experiences as you! thank you for the encouragement and providing your journey :)
Wow I didn't know it's a thing
CAPSA asks about highschool?
Hi! No it does not but I added my high school extracurriculars because I felt that it was relevant to my PA journey!
Hi! I’m a senior in high school and I’ve been interested in PA for a while now. Is it possible I can major in public health or nursing? I really want to major in nursing but I know people say do nurse practitioner instead but I don’t want that .
Hello! Yes you can major in any degree as long as you are completing the "prerequisite courses" which are required to apply to PA schools! If there are certain PA programs you are interested in applying, begin looking at what is required and make sure that you are completing those requirements throughout your undergrad. If you have any other questions feel free to message me and I hope this helps!
Crayolas!! They're all I use!
Staring PA school in the Spring . Thanks for this , super helpful!
How exciting!! Congratulations and you got this!!
Hi, are you currently in your clinical phase of PA school?
Yes I am!
had my first interview two weeks ago! How long would you say is the wait time in regards to decisions made on acceptances?
How long are your modules, typically? This week we sre covering infectious diseases. We had the first class today, then we have three more classes on Thursday and 2 in Friday. The exam is on Monday. 😳 i agree with you when you say that it doesnt sound doable/reasonable to finish learning a topic just a few days prior to the exam. Wth!!!🙁
Hello!! Our modules are typically 4 weeks long but can vary from 3-5!
congratulations.... you mentioned about your GRE score, thats great. But getting accepted at 3 PA schools really need good GPA too. if you are confortable can you guide on GPA requirements of these schools and what was your score in science and overall please. Thanks.
this was so helpful, thank you!
hey!! first i would like to say congratulations, probably you are halfway done lol, 21! way to go. i just moved to texas from utah and I wanted to get my residency and finish my bachelor's degree to apply for pa school I am in Houston but I don't know what I should work to finish my 2000 hours and if you have any work recommendations let me know please I also used to work as a lab technician does that work or what?
You should try firecracker. It will generate the flashcards for you each dat based on the subject matter you choose.
I've never heard of firecracker but I will look it up! Thank you for your suggestion!
Hey! How’d did you study for anatomy, any tips in PA school? Thank you!
What did you major in undergrad?
I majored in biomedical sciences and minored in biology!
What’s your Onlyfans link?
Lol you for real rn?
@@LoylaDemiseem oh it’s coming soon
@@firstlookpro7282 How you know?
Can you please tell me how many days we have to go uni in 1st year of PA?
Hello, most programs in the nation require that you have a bachelor's degree. Obtaining a bachelor's degree ranges from 2-6 years, which is dependent on you!
I’m not sure if you’ve mentioned this before but where did you get your notebook/journals? 🤩 Thanks!
Hello! I purchased my notebook from office depot! They are called the "Tul 3-Subject Notebook" !!
Hi 🤗 I have a question about the book since I'm interested in getting it. Does it go over just about every system in the body? (I would assume so due to how big the book is) Like does it go into detail about nearly every organ and system?
how can a indian join PA school abroad
What school did you end up choosing?
i found out about the pa profession in freshman year of high school! your story is so incredible and inspiring, i want to push myself to be as active in extra curricular as you are! sadly, i didn’t get a chance to shadow in my high school medical classes, because of covid, but hopefully next year i will :D
Awww yes! There is also virtual shadowing which may be helpful!
How did you apply to Texas schools.
I applied through CASPA!
Hi I’m a junior in high school and I’m really interested in becoming a pa. What do you recommend as far as a traditional route to becoming a PA and a PA school bridge program?
Hey I’m a junior in college pre pa student. I would recommend looking for colleges that have dual degree BA/MS in physician Assistant studies. This will put you at a great advantage and gets you into the career a lot faster (albeit already being shorter than med school lmaooo). But most people don’t do those programs and take the pre req courses and keep up their GPA and definitely look for a job or volunteer for patient hours and volunteer around your community with organizations. It’s ALOT but you definitely have time. Personally I am a biology major in college (you don’t have to even be a science major jus make sure to take the courses needed) with a 3.8 gpa and grinding this summer with a goal of at least 500 patient care hours. I plan on applying spring 2022 for when I graduate to enter the programs.
Hello, I loved the video. Ask me if you could upload a video of your book Fran Netter 2E, how to color everything in order to guide us all better, I would appreciate it 😊🙏🙏🙏
Hola me encantó el vídeo me pregunta si podrías subir un vídeo de de tu libro Fran Netter colorear Cómo lo colorearte me ayudaría para poder guiarme te lo agradecería
i am about to finish my second year of undergraduate, is it too late to start getting Pce hours ?
Hello! It is never too late to start obtaining PCE!
I love the colors! They go so well together. If you don’t mind my asking, how do you manage to pay for PA school and pay for your apartment, bills, etc.? I assume you don’t work so how do you make your financial situation work?
hello! I was wondering how to get so many PCE and HCE because most of the jobs around that area require extra school on top of you trying to finish the prerequs. Are there any jobs that give u good experience and don't require extra training? What did you do for your hours and how did you obtain that position?
I worked as an uncertified medical assistant. Sometimes offices will hire you without schooling, but I understand that they may also require schooling. I also volunteered with the Pre PA Society and was able to get "health care experience (HCE)" from those services! (Keep in mind you can only count it as either volunteering or HCE; not both!
Hii 👋 what was your major for your bachelors ?
Hi! I majored in biomedical sciences and minored in biology!
I enjoy these videos because it’s the real insight into the life of a PA student! Great video :)
Thank you so much!!!
I love these! I start PA school in a couple weeks and love the glimpse of a typical day! More of these pleaseeee (:

hi!! I was wondering what binder you use for notes? I am about to start pa school & I like having a physical copy of my notes as well but hate those hard binders & the other soft binders are too small haha!
I use this notebook called "TUL" and you can purchase them from Office Depot! They cost about $14 but that is the only notebook I have used since undergrad! I just add more paper to it and buy larger rings!
@@MedicallyBri thank you so much!! I was looking for it everywhere bc I saw it from your last video and couldn’t find hahah 😊
@@catpa-s3387 Awww haha yes its from office depot! You can even create your own since they sell the hardcovers and rings separately. It is fully customizable!
@@MedicallyBri omg definitely going to customize it! thank you!!! ☺️
Thanks for the glimpse into reality of PA school! You’re doing awesome👏🏼
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Hello❤
Hang in there Bri!
Thank you beautiful lady!!
Have you ever did bad on a test? How do you overcome that (if so), are they graded harshly? Is there retakes? And I was curious if you get test anxiety? That’s one of my biggest concerns in school. I always forget shit when it’s time to take the test even when I know I know it lol. My brain turns to scrambled eggs.
I prepare well for my exams and sometimes I am unhappy with my score. Most of the time its because I change an answer and don't believe in myself which comes from testing anxiety! I do get really nervous before exams and feel like I forget everything but I take a minute to breath and know that at the end I tried my best. Although I study for exams, I study more for how my future patients will present and knowing that makes me feel better!
Love your videos! I watched one of your videos last week and HAD to order the laptop and phone stand. I've been using them for 2 days now and love it! :)
Awwww yes they are so good!!! I am happy you like them!
