The rail fits the nerve naturally. It has the same 2 hole Asa/rail system that was popular for that time.

@@RepairPaintball Cool thank you! I recently purchased a smart parts nerve that is seemingly brand new and has no signs of use at all. I haven't played in about 20 years but got the itch again lol. I may pick your brain in the future about this gun. If the eye ribbon doesn't work, is there any way I can use an SFT eye... Or is there any nerve eye ribbon still available?

@SKRDD-tf7vv no. The nerve eye ribbon is longer and an SFT eye ribbon will be too short. One of the massive issues with keeping a nerve up and running today.

@@RepairPaintball are there alternative options? I ordered a dye LTR and it should be here tomorrow. So I'm hoping to test everything soon. But if the eyes don't work I was at least hoping that the LTR would be good enough to feed it without a hiccup with eyes off. But if there is any options out there just in case the eye doesn't work, I'd like to know. Thanks for responding also!

@SKRDD-tf7vv the rotor should keep up just fine. No other options exist at the moment.

Of course. National tournaments are capped at 10.5 bps. Front grip is a little small for me but that’s player preference

I wish semi was still a popular tournament mode… capped, uncapped… whatever… just semi.

It has a faster bolt speed but I would not say it is harsh on paint.

Maybe. The solenoids are not made any more and the solenoids caps crack frequently. Depends what’s wrong with it.

@@RepairPaintball it leaks down the barrel. Was told the hose inside needed replaced you could see where it had a hole in it. Replaced the hose and checked all o rings and still leaking

Run it without the bullet. That's my recommendation.

It’s up there. This one is running at higher pressure due to the immortal bullet so is not as smooth as it can be. Without it the volume reduction mod the shot is really really nice. Short and smooth.

Main instigators are the poppet guide O-ring in the top section, 009 & and base seal on the poppet non replaceable. More uncommon is the top 012 on the poppet guide section.

There is a bit of tolerance that’s allowed. As long as it fits in that groove cut out in the bottle and does not look old or worn you should be good to go.

@@RepairPaintball Ok it fits, I bought my regulator used and I didn’t want to reuse the old one even though it looked okay , because when I took it off the regulator and sat in in that groove it was a bit too small . So I went and got an O ring kit and fit one till it sat right .

The puff you are feeling is the QEV hole drilled at the back of the bolt. That’s normal. I’ve modded HE bolts to do the same. It vents quicker out the back cap instead of the air being pushed back into the system. Lowering your dwell will increase efficiency. Eventually you will get low enough that you won’t cycle anymore. It’s a game to balance it. I almost always run 14 ms on anything that’s not an eigen. Not worth the returns imo to dwell tune the HE system.

@RepairPaintball I don't remember ever feeling that air before the sprung bolt I'm really not sure. You think the sprung bolt is what caused it to start venting there?

@brentblack5025 nope. It’s the qev hole. Maybe your bolt guide was plugged with paint or something. Also you never feel it with a mask on.

@@brentblack5025 re-read your comment. yes it was the sprung Eigen bolt. The Eigen bolt comes with the qev hole drilled in the tail end... that causes the vent out of the bolt guide.
