Why do you have to disconnect battery?

1st gear gets you to 40?? Geez that's crazy. I had an 03 Mitsubishi and first gear only got me to 15-20 miles before revving pretty loud

Not sure you will answer after all 4 years but I gotta ask. I have this car with 2.3 engine and I struggle to determine at what rpm ( or speed) to change each gear driving around town. 50kph is my limit and I always try to drive in 4th at limit to save on gas, but the engine doesnt make it easy, it falls to 1.5-1.7 rpm and I am not sure that is healthy for the car. Maybe I'm used to driving smaller weaker cars...

This has nothing to do with fuel consumption...

You just drop the pump into any water source...bucket, water container, river, etc.

I hate to be that guy but just want to say that there aren’t 3 overdrives in this transmission. 5th is your overdrive and 4th is usually 1:1 in most transmissions but in the Mazda G5P like in this particular model it’s actually 1.03:1. Just a little something I’ve learned. I’m always trying to learn about vehicles every day considering I’ll be a mechanic after college. I do like the 2nd gen shifter though that’s cool. I’m actually getting a 2nd gen with a 5 speed.

folks ok dont do this,first off he should have left the trash is his neighbors garbage, theres videos that show you how to do it the right way haha.cover all the holes in your doors yes even the big ones that were made to reach inside to work on stuff,cover them with thin metal or hard thick plastic ,yes put screws or pop rivots to hold them in place,then cover that with sound deadener ok,look for metal rods that move to open doors wrap foam around them.then on the back side of your door panel,the plastic panel,door card,they sell sheets of foam thats like 1/4 inch think or more with a sticky side,you peel and cover the back of your door panels.put your panel back on dont fasten it yet ,turn your speakers up listen for rattles if none go ahead and reinstall.this is a better way to do things,you've made your door a sealed enclosure by doing this if you do it right,also get some aluminum tape they sell in hardware stores they use it in attics around your ac ducts,use this to tape everything up with because it wont melt and come off.i could keep on but im tired good luck

How does the shift knob come off? I know it has a pinch clamp but after you cut the clamp does it unscrew or?...

I would use a thinner foam or maybe some sound deadening material.

Too lean would be not enough fuel, too rich would be too much fuel.

My 1999 Miata has 50,000 miles and for the last month I've had the following 3 codes and I'm wondering if they're all related somehow: - P0300 (Random misfire) - P0420 (catalyst system below threshold bank 1) - P0455 (EVAP large leak) The car gives off a very strong gas smell, and on 3 occasions it has started up rough, the CEL started blinking, and then after a few seconds it corrected itself. Any suggestions would be helpful!

What kind of gas mileage do you get? Any known issues?

Good Job but way too complicated. Here is what I do. 1 gallon heated water inside a bucket. Use a cup to pour water over body to get fully wet. Soap Up and use a cup or two of water to rinse off. 1 gallon is plenty enough water to take one shower per person. Don't feel like taking a shower for a day or two... use baby wipes that cost 2 dollars for 200 wipes.

If you are car camping, you could just get an extension cable to plug the pump into your car's 12 volt outlet. Then you wouldn't have to worry about the power bank's auto shut off feature. Just start your car for a few minutes while you're showering. I'm thinking about something like this for hurricane season.

Its a good idea but they sell kits for this kind of projects. Also the door skin is not going to fit with all that foam.

So glad I found this video! I have a 2007 Tahoe and I bought new door speakers. After hubby installed them, when I turn it up my door panels rattle. It sooo annoying! He said that there is nothing that he can do. I was thinking maybe putting a towel around it. What do you think?
