Time feels different as we grow older. ➡️As kids, 30 minutes felt like an eternity-a stretch of freedom to explore, play, and dream. But as adults, those same 30 minutes fly by in the blur of responsibilities-laundry, cooking, emails, and the endless to-do lists. What we didn’t realize then was that behind the scenes, someone was giving us the gift of time. Our moms were quietly doing the work, taking care of everything so we had the space to just “be”. They were giving us their time, so we could figure out what it means to be alive.
Now, as we face the whirlwind of adult life, we understand the true value of that gift. Time is one of the most precious things we can give to someone, and for years, our moms gave us theirs without asking for anything in return. It’s a reminder to not only appreciate those who’ve supported us, but also to slow down, take a breath, and be intentional with the time we have. Time spent with loved ones, doing what brings us joy, is what truly matters-because, in the end, that’s what makes life meaningful. ❤️✨🥹

Going to group therapy in rehab i checked myself into was my moment. I saw that my problems were so much like those found in others. I learned what it meant to be honest, to understand the value of true honesty, but to be given in safe environments. I learned to be an active listener. I learned what it meant to serve myself and others.. in that order. I learned that life gets better. It really does. Love connects us all
