Controlling the Karoo Paralysis Tick (Ixodes rubicundus) in South Africa
My good friends, Danie and Johan explain the process of controlling an especially insidious parasite on their sheep farms in South Africa. I found this fascinating and I hope you all enjoy it as well. Thanks for watching!

I have further thoughts on the knife and will post a follow-up review if anyone is interested. I'm not sure if it's worth it as this is now a discontinued model. let me know in the comments if anyone is interested in another video. A quick l...

I have a few very nice ones in my collection but I change the straps to beautiful nato straps. They are awesome
Cześć. Czy masz jeszcze ten zegarek? A jeśli go masz, to czy działa jeszcze? Daj znać jeśli możesz. Pozdrawiam
Have 8 Love them they are a conversation starter :! Classy
No seahorse on the back = Fake
@@daveboon5992 on the Polaris? I've never seen a seahorse on the Polaris.
I couldn't believe it, I wanted to check my iPhone with my left hand as I was watching the video and just like yours, mine also showed 216° SW 🤣.
Thank you very much for helping me do my first ever watch battery change. Much appreciated!
Great video, thank you sir!
Nice song
Is there any way i can change the day and date? I order a same model but i have no idea how to change it
There's a riding season? Sometimes there's rain...sometimes not. Sometimes snow...sometimes not. A season? Never saw one of those.
😂😂😂
i find it amusing you do a 17m presentation about a watch... but you never put it on your wrist. Kind of like testing a car without getting in it. Good info about the functions though - thanks.
very cool watch
Now I know something I didn't know before. I know that, if I want to raise sheep, I may not want to do it in South Africa :)
That's probably a good course of action.
Nice one Greg.
I want it where to buy from ?
Thank you
Just ordered mine. Greg thank you much for your most honest thoughts
I actually use the two time zones as we work with people in different counties so it’s useful to know what time it is there. Too complicated though. The watch is painful to use. The T5E231 is a much better Timex with time zones plus interval functionality.
Soft luggage instead of har cases .
Thanks for this! I have a favorite watch - a Wenger - that has exactly the same symptoms as yours. I was wondering if I should throw it out until I found your video. Saved me money and angst!
Beautiful!
I own both of these watches and you truly can't go wrong with either one especially for the price 👍🏻
Spyderco just added new scales to this model today. 12c27 with G10 scales in red, blue, and black. Very lightweight
I put one on pre-order today at Knifecenter
@@grumpyuncle. wow. That's cool! I'll check them out. Thanks!
I had the JNS Engineering peg lowering kit for my GEN 2 KLR and they where fantastic, I will always use their product.
The blade is ok but the handle feels so cheap. I'd say pass on this one
@@zandolord4262 agreed!
This watch is the only one I can think of from China that has a kind of icon status. Quality is decent, can’t beat it for the money.
They got both the clip point & the fighting with the edge upside down from American Bowie Knives & Bowie fighting techniqies. Which is where the nickname "the knife that cuts both ways" from.
Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇲🍾🎉🇺🇲 Keep producing more videos about the KLR.
A great change i made on my K L R was to adjn J N S foot peg mounts lower and back. Love them.
I hope that's your wife up there on the wall.

A couple of hundred dollars? That's a steal. You can't get a better deal any where in the world. I bought a Polaris chrono in almost mint condition for about $1,000 plus shipping and tariff 15 years ago. I wore it for about a year and kept it in a drawer since.
I just bought a knife like this. But it is keychain sized. It is San Mai. Can't say much more.
Thank you for your honest and thorough review! Very nice Certina DS, by the way. I’m looking at a Eulit Palma Pacific strap in tan for an inbound Praesidus A5 UDT to give it a vintage tiki vibe. 😎🗿 🏝️ 10:00 Perlon was actually developed by a German chemist back in 1938, making it a suitable match for my homage WW2 canteen watch! 😊
The Tusk foot pegs that have replaceable spikes is affordable and works great.
The countdown timer was included in the original, also had the second timezone and the " REM" ( reminder) function. And a little light bulb for illumination. Full stainless screwdown case. Mine is still running great.
Well done, did not expect a school class. Keep up the great work. Gotta teach the young welps, what's up.
Thank you!
I have used mine for years. Probably made me 10X what is worth via work. The only negative I will have is the lock feature. I have removed them on other SOGS, might do it to this 1 also.
Hi Greetings I sliced my sheath lock off on the first trip...i use cold steel sheath for it. So true but the knife is very good. Thanks for sincere review. Regards
Thank You for sharing!
Wearing mine right now. Great and easy functionality. Replaced sweaty band with nylon/canvas band made for DW5600 I think, holds watch more centered on my wrist and jut cooler and cool.
Hey can i know the seller details ? Do you have it

Interesting watch. I'm looking at a few jdm chronographs, which is why I'm scrolling on here fir info. My brother has a casio lineage chronograph with a lot of similar features it just seems a bit much for me. Thanks for the info
Got these for my 2023 KLR 650 adventure. They look really awesome and I will be adding them soon. Thanks for posting.
Can't thank you enough for matching the times on both watches to the second
I've beaten mine to absolute Hell and back. Still works perfectly fine 6 years later w 1 battery change as of yet last year. Just FYI I've had G shocks and nh35 watches fail me but never my inox. It even worked when I once pulled a cabin on a sled w a snowmobile for 16 hours straight in temps below -40C. I had it on top of my jacket becuase it was so cold the phone battery would die immediatley.
