@FlicksAndPixels in your video time stamp 3:24, if you zoom in you will see that Dolby vision is listed twice Once at the bottom in the boxes showing the video and audio format, and again above. Perhaps I'm wrong, but then these Dolby vision trademarks are incorrect? @@juno1597 my apologies I was on about a different film. I thought you was on about Terrifier 3, I had a comment on that at the same time. Yes the UK version is DV and HDR 10 on Twister in the UK and is a 100gb disc. The 66gb US version and the US Steelbook is only HDR 10 and does not have Dolby Vision. However as stated in my video I don’t feel there is a huge difference at all between DV and HDR 10 on this release. I hope that helps.

@@FlicksAndPixels so you feel the UK version isn't worth it especially if I'm having to pay around $70 for it? I want the best quality, but not if the better quality version is insignificant for a high price. I appreciate your time thank you very much for your help!

@ to be honest mate, no I don’t think it’s worth you paying out that amount for such a subtle difference between HDR and DV. Honestly if you’ve already got the US HDR only release you’re still getting a fantastic version of the film. Now…..if you’re getting it because of the edition itself then that’s different because as an edition, this UK collectors edition is gorgeous in the hand and is one of my favourites of 2024.

@FlicksAndPixels Well I thank you, you've saved me quite a bit of money. My top priority is image quality and sound, if you had told me I would probably notice a reasonable difference between the two if they were side by side in front of me, I would have reluctantly pulled the trigger. I am going to take your advice and purchase the North American edition, I've recently started purchasing physical media and this was on my list and I had no clue this movie has such prestige in this community. Thank you for your knowledge and your time I greatly appreciate it!

@@Benjimikey did you get the UK standard from Amazon Uk or the US import from Amazon Uk? I think the 4k disc is the same in the collectors edition as the uk standard version. Not sure why it wouldn’t play on your 820 as it plays fine in my 820?

@@spfilmviewers5629 yeah, like I say in the video I think that anyone who already has or is wanting these films then they will be just fine with the blu rays. The only thing that I think will separate the 4k from the blu ray is the HDR (which does look pretty good) so anyone not wanting to pay that extra for the 4k release won’t be missing too much with the blu ray versions. @@earlthemovieguy5821 this UK version has HDR10 and Dolby Atmos. The HDR looks good and is probably what separates the 4K from the blu-ray in terms of image quality to be honest.

@@modernpeasants7 I didn’t know the US version doesn’t have HDR. The UK version has HDR but no Dolby Vision, the Umbrella Entertainment Editions has both HDR and Dolby Vision.

Ah thanks man I'm in the US and was wondering... shouldn't this 4k look a little better? I mean I get it if they were going for the grindhouse kinda thing but dam, I'm not impressed with the us 4k release

@@FlicksAndPixels yeah man it was the second most expensive thing I’ve ever bought physical media wise, but at the same time it equal out to around $30 a movie so it wasn’t that bad. I really just got it for the VHS.
