This has been one of my favorite tapes to restore. It has the promotional cuts from the 1981-1982 season of HeeHaw, along with a 9.5 minute long teaser of the season. This is a pretty unique glimpse into the life of a senior in the Nashville area back in the late 1980's that felt pretty surreal to me. This was found at an estate sale in a pile of tapes, and then passed along to me. I did my best to edit out all of the personal information, but if you know anyone in the video let me know and I'd be happy to send them the full, uncut version.

Unfortunately, I don't have a recording of the whole event but these clips are pretty entertaining as a look back in time.

My dad just brought me the news that Tom T. Hall had passed away tonight, which hit pretty hard. I have watched him sing this song, "I love" probably 200 times over the last few months while I was piecing together a destroyed part of the VHS tape from that night. This is a pretty wholesome news piece on Chet Atkins where he visits the school he grew up at down in Georgia. He shares a few quaint stories and performs at a fundraiser to help preserve the school.

This is just a short promo for the Kelly Family that was mixed in with another TNN tape. It's not complete; but I couldn't find anything else like it online so I figured I'd put it out there in case it's of interest to someone.

Unfortunately this is not the full race and cuts off about 10 minutes in someone taped over it with a performance by the Kelly family. Don't worry, I'll upload that next!
