How to Tune Your Toyota With VFTuner - Yotawerx Tuning - 3rd Gen 2017 Toyota Tacoma
Hey guys nice to be back and attempt some videos again. So quick spoilers. I raced a 3rd Gen Tacoma with some tires and lift. I went first with ect gear lock, launched at about 1500 and I had the lead right off the bat. I went into second she kept pulling away from the Tacoma, very impressive for my truck that has more weight and a regular octane tune. This updated file is amazing but I've been happy with all nexus and Blackhawk tunes! I'll try to get a review in next!

Who knows I may even get some 315/75r16 on some new wheels at some point but that setup may be too heavy for my little 4 cylinder bronco haha. If you get into an accident without your sway bars, the insurance company is not going to cover your car and/or injuries. NOT worth the risk to do on public roads.

    All of you are idiots. Plain and simple. A sway bar transfers the weight of the truck across both tires. And you need that when you need to evade an object. If you don’t have a sway bar your tires will loose traction. What you demonstrated aren’t evasive maneuvers. Not even close. Removing the sway bar makes the car unstable. End of story. And if you try to compensate for that with stiffer suspension you clearly don’t understand anything about the matter. You’re just like these idiots who want a stiffer ride and use different coils instead of using harder sway bar bushings and a stiffer sway bar to stiffen up the car while keeping the suspension just soft enough to comply with road surfaces irregularities. You want your tires to stick to the surface not bounce. Smh.

    i put a heavy duty rear sway bar on the rear and removed the front on my GX470 and the offroad improvement and on road comfort is worth it. I did notice, however, that in the rain on the highway... it feels super insecure. Overall, just slow down.

      @@CanadianOffroad4x4 I went with 24mm SuperPro for the rear. There is another benefit that seems to go unmentioned for the ATrac people. Getting to use the full available travel on the front will likely help keep tires in contact with the ground (subjective). Any opportunity to minimize shock to the axles from ATrac engagement is a good thing. I can't count how many vids I've seen of axles breaking because of a fully loaded wheel suddenly receiving all that power when ATrac locks the spinning wheel. I did back to back sessions at Hollister SVRA and the difference is dramatic. I don't think I lifted a front wheel 1x with the front deleted. Light touches, and some ATrac action but nothing severe like the time with it on.

      When improper use you can definitely trip or trick the system. I had some slow 4hi engagements this past few days due to -40 -50 temps. However I was doing 60kmh-40mph and ended up going into neutral while coasting cuz it wasn't doing it in D. • @CanadianOffroad4x4
      @CanadianOffroad4x4 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's many stories on it and even from 2nd gen owners. Flushing the system to be totally fresh vs the friction made with the old fluid. If my memory serves me correctly. I've never seen anyone have a problem with D&Refill. I remember when doing this and finding the info or videos at the time people would have trans problems after. I've got 150K miles and I'm still bagging this trans with a blackhawk/yotawerx tune. It's doing justice. Another fun fact. I saw someone with 800k miles on a 2016. Trans finally gave out at 500k miles

Not the manufacturers or the lab analysis. This labs don’t see what’s stuck in the engine little by little.

I'm just under 6,000 mi & Toyota wanted me to wait till over 10,000 miles to bring it in there crazy! I remove the accumulator on the transmission so I already redid the clutch fluid, I replace the manual transmission fluid with gl-4 amsoil at 2,500 mi & it needed it bad, you could see all the metal floating around in the 🛢️... Just this past weekend I did the rear diff with gl-5 amsoil 75W-90 4.5 qts or so & it looked dirty looking in the 🛢️ with a 🔦 i shit you not my 🛻💨 doesn't even sound the same it's so much less clunky now. The rear diff fluid made the most difference reducing clunking sounds. I think there's so many variables with doing oil changes I think one of the worst things is short trips & not letting the vehicle get up to normal operating🌡️ I plan on keeping this 🛻💨 so I'm going to do 🛢️ changes around 5-7K miles & going 📴 how it looks rather than mileage. To each their own 💯👍👍

      @fernandobriseno8164 at3s are just as great for the light offroader more pavement type. Tell you right now. St maxx hates too much pavement. Grid roads are so much smoother lol its crazy. But I love these tires for the year round traction. Winter was all low tread and I could still 2wd.

      I used to be around 30 when stock weight. Now I daily around 35. Rotate and it's good to go. Coopers I find need more rotating then these toyos did. You don't need anymore than 40 especially with the stiffer tire (10ply)

    Not all 285/75R16 are the same size! Different manufacturers will vary side-by-side comparison. 285= Width/ 75=Height/ R=Rim Diameter/Height

    Idle readings between the two seems useless, since at idle, it will only pull in what it needs to idle in either case (only drawing in enough air to run the engine fast enough to keep the battery from dying, almost no load at all). Is the OEM inlet allowing the same flow as the accelerator intake inlet at 1500 to 2,000rpms when airflow needs to be closer to its zenith, and real world driving is happening? We don't know. How does it do at 2500 or 3000rpms going down the road? This is when it counts.

      My man I'm sorry I never see enough comments but I'm going strong over 2 years. You won't OVER power anything for the electronics. Nothing wrong with running a gel style more quality battery. They are just better batteries and have a little more voltage and it helps with starting alot.
