Shridhar Murthy is an artist based in Bengaluru. And this concept of Anti-gravity has encouraged him to think and create something against the norms. He derives keen interest in creating art that is characterized by dream-like visuals depicting Anti-gravity. His visual compositions present a sense of reducing or cancelling the effect of gravity. This hypothetical effect has been the basis of this exploration and thus a body of work has been on process for quite some time now.

I was so fortunate that I had Raviji’s father Shri Ram Mandlik as my Chitrakala teacher in Rashtriya High School and his brother as a Chemistry teacher. I heard about Raviji when I was growing up in Achalpur, but never met him. Nice to see his interview. Always great to see how this small town has shaped the lives of people.
