That chromatic modulation is so playful and inspiring!
This is lovely, expressively lyrical and with tons of personality in the way you play it. Love the shoes, too.
And I thought Noel Hill played it fast...
Lovely :)
Loving the jazzy bit btw.
Great !
Anastasia goes to New Orleans!
Lovely tune. Highly original accompaniment. Works so well together.
Love it!
Wonderful!
lovely i am 70 years old and always have had instruments but never mastered any of them i would like to have your cheerful and happy disposition what is your secret all my music sounds like dirges , droning dirges.
Jist keep going!
@@simonthoumire1 ok thanks for the encouragement
lovely happy music
Loved this. Thank you, Gentlemen. Very çreative.⭐🌹⭐🌹
cool
Great interview - love the relaxed style. I saw Ian play with Karen Tweed in Edinburgh many many years ago and was bowled over by how great they were together, but also by Ian's playing. Really superb musicality and great to hear him talking about music.
absolutely amazing
Wow! My goal is to play as well as you play this fast tune, nice job.
Great stuff
lovely
is that a nylon or steel strung guitar?
you are getting me interested in learning and i am 70 great stuff very uplifting
wonderful and such an easy instrument to transport around
great stuff
amazing
❤❤
Oooh fab :)
Loved the piano solo section, too!
why is there a button missing?
It broke! The good news is that Steve Dickinson just fixed it for me
@@simonthoumire1 That centralised button layout sure is in favor of the action mechanics, anglo becomes a challenge trying to accommodate more buttons. Nice playing.
Fabbadabbadoodah!
OK 👍
Brilliant. I’ve got to learn your variation of the last B part! Should probably delay my getting Alzheimer’s another couple of years.
That was fun!
Do you have to use the air button if you have enough air there before you have to draw out on a note?? I'm just staring to learn by myself. I need all the help that I can get. says Judy Corrette
I am still working on where are all the notes in and out on the top and bottom rows and figuring out how far to extend the bellows in and out. .I'm in the beginning stages of discovery and exploring and working on the song exercises in my instruction book. says Judy Corrette in Wildwood, Fl USA
I can't stand accordion I LOVE this
Very helpful. Being a recent owner of a Lachenal duet concertina and very motivated to learn, I stumbled upon this problem. Many thanks, K
There's always more to explore! New ornaments. New genres (Klezmer? Gypsy Jazz? Swedish? Bach? etc...). Different instruments. Fresh approaches to harmony and counterpoint... Even for musicians as talented as Simon, one lifetime isn't enough to scratch the surface.
😄👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Old King Cole. His field: Cole’s Field. Thus Coilsfield House. I’m gonna use that one…
That last song totally sounded like an old western fiddle tune!
Never thought I'd heard miles Davis on a concertina. Love it
You two were made for each other.
Nice playing.
I remember hearing this in songs and thinking man how do they play so fast. I actually ended up learning this technique by watching a piano tutorial doing a similar thing but with 3 fingers, though over time I realized 2 fingers would get the job done just the same and tended to be easier. Wish I found this video earlier, could have saved a lot of time
I absolutely love this, such a fun tune and such interesting and lively progressions that embody the idea behind the song. Guess I gotta try and learn it now
Too fast!
What a great video, and such nicely controlled vibrato. Thanks so much for this.
Love it thanks for sharing
We need a musical seed vault to put this in for the future. Excellent work guys.
😊❤👏
This is wonderful Simon, thank you for sharing!
Cor lovely! :)
