Have you ever been to a fast food drive through and found you were missing something from your order? Did you insist on getting everything you paid for? You do that because you value what you paid for. So what about education? Why is it that people tend to be happier if they don't have to be in class for as long, or if they don't have as much homework? Aren't they being cheated out of what they...

Plumber Math: Offsets and Rolling Offsets
มุมมอง 13K3 ปีที่แล้ว
The Utah State Journeyman Plumber Practical Exam requires understanding of offset and rolling offset math. This video will walk you through the basic math formulas, and demonstrate how to use them so you can calculate accurately and pass the test.
Clean pipe and joints, prime them, glue them, push and twist, hold until it feels right. 😂
what if the offset is combined with the rolling offset? all in one project? its easy to roll when you have your tee for stabilization but if the roll is above the initial 45 degree offset, it gets tricky. this what you did here is what we prepared for in class, not the reality I face now. they changed the test and its now a copper project which has a 45 degree offset followed with a roll, so you have to build it in 4 sections.
This is awesome thanks
Glad this is helpful!
Info was good but the music was too loud and distracting,u might want to turn it down
is there anyway i can get in contact with you bro ? Email ? Im new to plumbing and having questions on homework , if not it’s ok
utah state exam should focus on actual plumbing skills not any of this useless crap. u hold up the tap measure and guess., add three quarters then dry fit, and a little to make up then cut some of the excess off. DUH
All your input was great. The music was really distracting, I'd quite happily listen to just you.
Thanks for watching. You might tryout my Plumber-Tom TH-cam Channel. I still put music to some of those videos, but I have other math helps there as well.
Great video easy to understand.

The annoying queer music drives you to near insanity. Makes you want to ask this mormon punk's five moms to slap him.
Thank you !
Fast food is bad for you
Does the 2 step still work if the pipes aren't squared with wall? Just measure from c to c and measure up from both rises, subtract the big number from smaller rise and use that for the actual rise, then square both numbers, add them and then sqaure root the number for offset, multiply that offset by 1.414, subtract 2 take offs for both fittings and then done?
Yes. Sounds like you have got it.
@@thomashicken6350 awesome I should know it by now, I watch your video every morning 💯 just needed to confirm 👍
If pipes line up just measure over and multiply that number by 1.414 then subtract 2 take offs, even if the fitting is a 90 or tee eh just the take offs will be different?
@@fleuryelite2170 Great. If you like this, you should check out my other videos on my Plumber-Tom TH-cam channel.
