Any experience with electronic ear tags?
Unfortunately not. I have stayed with the manual ear tags to this point. Thanks for watching!
Love you babe
Dude I’m in the same boat. I’ve had the same chickens for a couple years now and all of the sudden my hens are dying just like this???? No markings so it can’t be a predator. But I’ve noticed it’s only my females so I’m thinking something internal like egg bound or infections or something. Please if anyone knows anything help meee
Thank you!
don't buy vaxxed chicks
Dude a animal daycare home of baby animals is awesome 👏🏿
This is perfect animal travel cage I want building one or three cages
Thanks brother! God bless you!
We're having the same issue we had 12 chickens and by the end of the month we only have six that's half a dozen chickens but I'm not sure why they're dying they're just dying out of nowhere
Mine too I can’t sleep
Very helpful. I followed your instructions and was successful with my sheep.
I found one today. 6 mo old buff Brahma hen that hadn’t laid yet 😢
Thank you bro
can chickens handle the cold weather and rain ect ? , my mum has chickens and one of them had died with the death being unknown , it was perfectly healthy a couple of days ago and just suddenly died , we live in the uk and it’s quite cold weather over here , please could you give any advise or any tips .
Great video :) Ordering our tags today and wanted to see the difference in the MiniTag and the Qflex. Thanks for the demonstration:)
I am having the same problem
When they are stiff, it's because they have been dead for over 3hours I think it might have died of dehydration.
I will love to have one of your breed sheep's please 🙏 help me
I have 2 die as well... same as u???
Hi I am new to this. I had 4 hens. 2 were full grown and I bought them about 3 months ago roasting birds but I just wanted an occasional egg. Never got any from them though. The other 2 Vario ova. We’re slightly younger and smaller I bought them 2 months ago. This is July 6 and I found one of my first pair dead in her box in the morning of July 3rd. She seemed fine the day before and she seemed fine when I put her to bed. Today I found one of the younger pair dead in her nest box ( these are laying). They don’t look sick to me but I am brand new at this. Living in a city not a farm community. I’m looking for a vet but so far nobody seems to see chickens in my area. Assuming they are all doomed. How long do we have to wait to get new birds? Do I need to bleach the coop? How do I decontaminate their dust bath dirt area?
Make sure you got no vaccinated chickens and no purina food.
@@maragrace820 Only one of my hens survived. I have reason to believe that a neighbor had something to do with their demise. So awful 😞
Anyone think it is the feed most people buy and feed them? Read the ingredients. Nothing but soybean and seed oils it is disgusting. Why would we feed chickens inflammatory garbage we wouldn’t eat?
Thanks for the brief video
My grandpa killed one of my friends chicken and I saw it and I got so mad so as my Friend
Bring them into your house don’t leave them outside 🙏🏼 be harder for them to do anything to them think about it
Four chickens yesterday one was fine and now it’s dead and all the others are sick and dying I have no idea what’s happened
Exactly what I’m going through. Had 14. Down to 8. Lethargic slow decline. Poops are blackish color, coop is ventilated cleaned daily…large run. No idea
Bro you are an idiot. All that space and you give them like 3 feet to roam, you would die too you dummy.
Could have been egg bound....I've had them die like that....
I had 3 die......I think they poisoned the laying pellets
My grandfather was a bee keeper. I sadly never got to meet him. My mom and biological dad broke up when I was you and I never really got to know that side of my family. I just know over time that he very much loved it. Sold his honey at the Oregon state fair.
Ours died today, she was a brownie too. It looks like she was in a lot of pain.
Clever, quick & seems easier than some of the other DIY. Thank You
Hay
Hi Russel... Great Video! Pallet size 48"erz? Simple and cost effective design! I raise Dorpers and need to build some shelter for them.. We live at 6,000ft in Northern Arizona...and get snow in the winter here Thanks again!
Yes these are standard size pallets. It’s still going strong years later 😊
No cure unless you get them vaccinated when they are young. Best thing is to put them out of there misery. Sorry guys for the news. But I rather tell you the hard truth instead of anything else.
Marek's disease is what your chickens have
Covid?
i know nothing. but i gather small rocks and put in coop.
My cockral was fighting was my hen so much! And I put my chicks in with the big chickens and the chickens EATEN half of the chicks skin off
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO What breed is your sheep
We were putting the chickens up on Sunday evening and forgot to put back the water. Monday morning I noticed one of the chickens comb was flopped over and was slow moving. I isolated her and gave her some food and water. She pecked and ate some food. Tuesday I checked on her and she was fine and I fed her some scrambled eggs and gave her a couple syringes of onion water and probiotic water. Found her dead this morning … her poop was a mixture of forest green and white. Her butt looked like it was protruding. What did I do wrong? Im going to clean my coop out because iv’e been doing the compost method but there is only one window opening ( like a closet type coop) we lost our first chicken a couple months ago but she last about 7 days before she passed away due to me not know how to care for her …. 😞
Same thing happens to my butt hole when I drink onion water!
Egg bound most likely
Do google research !!!
@@compassion4all384 I guess you don’t know the chicken community then. Obviously I already did all the research but i couldn’t find any information on the symptoms my chicken had…its peoples experiences that teach us because there is not much on google to teach us. Thanks for wasting my time in writing out this comment!
My 7 months old broiler chicken suddenly died and I don’t know why and I am so sad.
A broiler chicken probably broke legs, aren't they the ones that you cull out at 8 weeks
You have to be a Lear even my chikens dead so we both of us should be aleart 💀
yay
Your chikens are died
Do you have a step by step and a list of materials?
We're you putting oyster shells in there for them?
I have one this morning too dead... But I guess ventilation is the key issue and also cleaning regularly
One of my chicken died very healthy until now she was bluish so or choke on food or egg bound
Mine died too today in morning
Mine too it happens but is nature egg bound or intestinal problems tomorrow diamatecous earth for all
I've caught several chickens while they were in the process of dying, over a period of several years. They were lethargic, not moving, but breathing. Their comb and wattle would turn dark over several hours. Then die, and stiffen. They had dilated and patruding vent, with yellow discharge. If it is egg binding, the causes that seem applicable (according to online articles) in my case would be too much protein, and stress (from foxes harassing the fencing, or perhaps being moved to a new location).
Thx man this really helped
I just found another one now I'm down to 4
I had 4 chickens died now I have none :(
Sorry one of mine died this morning not clue
