One thing I've learned from people who have built RVs is...never paint it black. Black absorbs sunlight and thus radiates heat. So I hope it has some great insulation...because they will need it.

An airplane for sale on a used car lot…. don’t look at it and don’t touch it with a fifty foot pole… “an ultralight I guess you could call it”…. Like a doctor saying “a pulse I guess you could call it”…. If the guy has no idea what he’s selling, the odds it’s OK are pretty low…. It looks nice…. but could have a cracked spar or who knows what else….

Wow. Incredible. Three Top of the line Trans Ams for the model years, 79, 80 and 80. My Dad had one of those 79 10th anniversary cars with the same 403 automatic. Only 185hp, but enough power to spin the tires from a dead idle. I saw a 80 TTA indy pace car, in a pontiac showroom floor once, but never drove one. I don't recall ever seeing 🤔 a 1981 Nascar Indy Pace car TTA. I have to say, that would be my pick, if I could only get one of those. I could imagine even finding, let alone owning a forty year old plus Trans Am with less than four hundred miles on it, let alone three of them. I absolutely love those red recardo 💺 with the Blk interior in that 81 Trans am. The only thing I heard were that they were NOT that fast. Even with fiveteen and twenty more horsepower over the 79 TA with the olds 403. The torque is higher, so they say its suppose to be quicker off the line than the 6.6 liter. I did also hear, that they " run" out of gas, at about 4400 rpm's. That oyster white just does it for me on both of those 80 and 81 models. I think my second choice would still be the 79 with the 6.6 liter olds 403, followed by the 80 TTA indy pace car. Makes me wonder how some dealershp in a ( looks like) small West Virginia town, could come up with three gems like that.

I'm buying one of these in the next month. I look forward to a delightful summer cruising the country roads in her. There's two I'm going to look at, one has the original motor, the other has the popular 1275 swap with a datsun 5 speed transmission. Both a pre decent cars.

living in fantasy land again thinking a six ton plus ,two and half ton military vehicle is going to go any where during a SHTF scenario , They are not quick they do get stuck the have horrible off road temperament and diesel goes bad six to twelve months . there's a reason why military moves overland in giant convoys fuel trucks water trucks recovery vehicles maintenance vehicles....just get you a small capable 4x4 Hummer Jeep ...best converted to propane for less oil damage and noise while moving ,a tent or a collapsible rv to keep your profile and weight down a small generator stored water and food ad lots of ammo and a few guns one mean old lady a couple of bratty kids and you will make it!

I do love it the only thing that bugs me is that breather/snorkel why not move it and gain an extra 3ft by 7ft.

It's a very Macho looking truck and for me this is a man truck

Bad design layout ,the sprinter vans self built on you tube are way better .why put the lounge opposite the bathroom door not the kitchen why. Lol

Winning the championship that year. Remember going to Winchester and Potomac with George until I started racing myself.
