Inner Groove by John Cope for Tenor Saxophone, Marimba and Percussion
Allen and I commissioned this piece for the Sonart Percussion Festival in Santa Marta, Colombia this year. Not only was this so much fun to practice and record, but our time in Colombia was also an incredible experience.
I would like to thank John Cope so much for his hard work on this piece and trusting us to premier his work. I would also like to thank Austin Marlow for his help recording and producing this video. And finally a huge thank you to Allen Campoy who has taught me so much over the years.

This collaboration was for Tanner Moseley's senior recital at TCU. Some of these time signatures were super tricky to nail down... Especially when the feet started getting involved. Nonetheless, we were very happy with the final product of this performance. Enjoy!

Hurrah! What a wonderful performance. Dear couple! I wish you all the best to perform better and better in more and more pieces like this. When both of you simultaneously play it gives the effect of playing dual melody on foot-pumped harmonium which is otherwise known as reed organ. At some parts where both of you alternatively play the voices of tenor and alto saxophones are clearly understandable. I like duet of saxophones very much.
