Racial Profiling by Toronto Police
มุมมอง 16K2 ปีที่แล้ว
-One might ask, why are Toronto Police Officers from 14 Division on private property investigating "anything" in 52 Division jurisdiction? Toronto Police Officer given a lesson that does NOT appear to be taught on the force or at The Ontario Police College in Alymer, Ontario. #cops #thinblueline #lawenforcement #police #policeofficer #ministry_0f_Attorney_General #policecar #cop #toronto #ontar...
Client/friend… as an instructor I have grown to appreciate no explanation can satisfy the stupid
Ok you know better
Your only argument is the race card, your victim mentality is pathetic. No innocent person would behave like this. Large infant, who holds no accountability.
Under maritime law you are a strawman to him. You are a non person. They are all masons and they are all racists. No blacks can pronounce the Masonic secret words. A word like ask sounds like axe for instance. I think it happens in other races and cultures. Like English putting “r’s” on the end of words that end in a vowel. Like “Chin-er” instead of China.
“Playing the victim” what does that mean? Wrong is wrong;how difficult is that to understand even in Nigerian or Swahili
As a Nigerian man, I notice that I can safely walk in public in a Canadian community. However, if most Canadians walked the streets of Lagos, Nigeria, their lives would be in danger. Maybe we're the ones causing public danger. We tend to blame everyone else and play the victim.
He is 💯 right the White and red you can drive on any car the yellow one is 8 to 5 and cant be on weekends this cop needs more Training.
How much bullshit should be tolerated?
I totally agree with you.
You doing too much bro, learn to exercise your right to remain silent. And $hit like this happens to everyone, it's not always just because you're black. But good for you for not taking any BS.
The rules regarding the white vs yellow dealer plates were clarified in the video. Learn the difference.
Officer is doing a proper job. See so many dealers using their dealer plate for personal private use.
Do you know what it cost for dealer plate and insurance?
@sailingchumpchange5590 $60 for the plate in Ontario. Insurance varies. Those coats are irrelevant, even if high, does not give the dealer the right to use the plate for personal use.
That is a valid point. But is that the case in this situation?
@sailingchumpchange5590 Well, having the dealer plate screwed to the car is a good indication that it's being used longer term. Based on that fact, police are right in stopping you to investigate. You immediately were hostile about the situation.
@@tronmcrae If you just use magnets to put a temp dealer plate on the car, one good pothole and it will bounce off, I worked a couple of years for auto auctions and more than once have shown up at the end of a delivery with no plate on the car. (started out with one)
And FYI all I did was press record.
Your choice of words speaks volumes about you and your character. “Childish” “girl”. I wonder if your just as engaging at election time.
Your choice of words speaks volumes about you and your character. “Childish” “girl”. I wonder if you’re as engaging at election time.
1. Most dealer plates are hung from a holder bag. 2. A Dealer Plate may be used on passenger class vehicles owned as part of a dealer’s inventory for purposes related to the sale of the vehicle or for personal use of the vehicle. The Dealer Plate and vehicle must both be owned by the same dealer. Anyone authorized by the dealer may drive the vehicle with a Dealer Plate (this is straight from UCDA). The video shows that the car was registered to a woman, not Elite. So yes, the cop was correct, and cops can pull a car over for any reason. But keep playing the victim. Some people perpetuate victimhood attitudes, and you are one of them, you quoted all kinds of info from the UCDA but intentionally left out point #2 above.... wonder why... you also don't have an original copy of the ownership. If it were me because of your shitty attitude and belligerent childish behavior, I would've hit you with every ticket I could.
Keep serving and protecting. You sound sooo different from the rest of your colleagues. The reality is you have way too much discretionary power and it’s not applied equally.
@@sailingchumpchange5590@sailingchumpchange5590, I am not a cop but a citizen who is calling out your childish behavior and the fact you left out details in order to perpetuate a narrative. Liek the small detail that the plate and automobile MUST be registered to the same dealer, were they .. ...? Let alone you had a copy of the ownership not the original. I drive around with dealer plates all the time and get pulled over as well, but I don't act like an entitled little girl.
You can’t teach facts to the stupid. They will always create their own truth. Members of law enforcement are indoctrinated in such an isolated manner. That they are unable to tell the difference between truth, biases and hate. This is why the us against them gap continues to widen.
The situation is individual. So you broke a law by permanently affixing a dealer plate to a vehicle. You were stopped and now you're being aggressive but the officer doing the job is the problem? Make it make sense
They earn the HATE!!
I feel sorry for these cops. Most of the perps who commit car thefts and car jackings are from the same side of town as the big mouth hypersensitive driver. Secondly, the guy was watching the cops and that will obviously get the cop's attention, so obviously the cops are going to think that this overly-sensitive driver who is pulling out the race card, is guilty of something.
Love to hear if there was any sort of follow up or complaint made?
As imaginary as your decency
Imaginary racism
Why is it that a Black person always uses profiling as an excuse? Maybe this a-holes attitude is the reason.
It must be so nice to NEVER have to think about that shit while simultaneously being a total ass
Race card deployed
Extortion patrol
Dude you're 100% correct. Cop makes no sense. He was profiling you!!
Canada is ruined when the cops cant even do their job I bet hes lgtbq cause in a real country the cops would have had you answering there questions.
Not that racial profiling isn’t an issue in Toronto, but your video unfairly paints all officers in a bad light son! Just remember not everyone fits the stereotype. Just my two cents!
1 I was not the one doing the painting… I was simply capturing the moment one of many encounters with law enforcement that never gets documented 2. If you had watched the entire video… you may have had more than 2 cents to offer 3 I am not your son. I am certain that if I where your black child your would be singing a very different tune
Teach that rookie why he should be asking if people want fry's with their order !
The more that cop talked, the deeper he kept digging his hole...
Race profiling!! your race puts you in that position and now he's all upset about it whole bunch of bad eggs. Then you need to straighten up your race don't be so ghetto all the time. The radar is always pointed in your direction you guys are bringing all the heat on yourselves due to all your actions in your community. And on top of that you're trying to run the show you're contradicting yourself but it's okay for you to do it to them
1,000% this cop saw a black guy in a nice car with dealer plates. And unfortunately it was your eye contact that made him pull you over. He probably thought you were being evasive. Being evasive isn't a crime but being evasive while black man I am happy this didn't take a turn for the worse. Good on you. What's the epilogue here?
The take away… know your rights and stand up for them against all that would try to diminish their worth.
@@sailingchumpchange5590 What ended up happening with the complaint you filed?
ya cause driving a dealership car , when its not yours , should be against their laws? and they need to punish people? For that? while the people in government get away with murder?
This coming from a cop. How cute. Does Alymer training allow for individual thought, reasoning and common sense or just top down bullshit. Nothing in this video disturbs you?
9 TIMES OUT OF 10 HE OFFICER WOULD BE RIGHT LOL RACIST? MAYBE BUT SO IS THE DISPROPORTIONATE AMOUNT OF CRIME
Constant interruption. Hostile talking. Hurts your case.
Oh David do you think you would have been stopped for that stupid shit. It’s passive people like you that stupid laws get passed without opposition. But you have the right to numb.
There is racial profiling in life period. Everywhere. Doesnt mean its bad. ITs needed. Black people should stop committing the vast majority of crimes in this city and in the US etc. if they dont want to be labled as criminals where every time someone sees a black person they think hes a thug or criminal etc. An that stems all the way back to the family. Broken homes, hip hop that glorifies violence and toxicity. All poison. Then instead of dealing with that black people turn around and play victim and blame white people for everything. Why? becuase its easier than facing the facts and the truth.
Cop got owned bitch!
From videos i have seen , this cop was pretty nice !! , he kept calm while you were so mad. If you told him that you just use it while you're car was in the shop , you would be gone long ago !!!.
‘From what you saw’. So you watched the entire video
In Canada they have the right to pull you over just to check insurance and ownership, also uour license. No suspicion needed for a traffic stop. Get your facts right.
@@DL101cabootlicker
You called him out on his BS. Bravo. We need an update.
Toronto police are as useless as speed bumps.
That is indeed a great video describing Toronto police's Unprofessional behaviour. Those Guys definitely need some training. and of course there was absolutely no reason to pullover the car with dealer plate on it.
In Canada the police can stop cars arbitrarily to check everything is in order. It’s not racial profiling, the Supreme Court has stated so
Anyone who watched the video in its entirety and listened to the exchange between the officer and and driver would need to check themselves into CAMH if they came to the same conclusions
You're correct, but the officer then has to state that he is pulling you over for that reason. He can't state that he was pulling you over for some dealer plate bullshit then state afterwards that he doesn't need a reason. It doesn't work like that.
@@quantumhelium he got stopped for having his dealer plate screwed on rhe bumper, then decided to check the registration. He had a motive
@@Ese.vato100 You’re out of your depth.
Canada , still a British colony, sealed.
Definitely a racial profiling stop. Toronto police are very racist..black officers will engage with white civilians in a very threatening way. While white officers will always pull over black civilians.its a very dirty police force.....
Forget about the officer, that lady you talking on the phone should learn how to talk with the public, she really angry and very not professional in serve and protect.most likely no training at all.
She’s being attacked, berated and yelled at by 2 men on the phone she’s obviously gonna get fed up
Love how people get angry and make problems were there are non.
Correct
