Come along for a Dual Sport ride from Arrowhead to Big Bear with our Dual Sport riding group. We are tackling the very steep and slippery White Mountain trail, which took everyone by surprise. It was a beautiful day. The only problem was our reduced fitness levels due to working from home during the long lock-down period.

No worries. Stay right and slow down before blind corners. Use common sense and you'll be alright.
@@frebuton2016 interesting, why do you say stick right? also have you been there lately i think they opened it back up a few days ago.
I mean, stay to the right side of the trail like in traffic, so you are less likely to have a head -on collision with another vehicle or mountainbike.

What are the mirrors that are mounted on the inside of the hand guards on the Husqvarna ? - Thanks
The small mirrors are PowerMadd 34289 StarSeries Handguard mirrors. I got them from Amazon (US$18.37), they are okay but not great. I still use one Double Take mirror in traffic, which works much better. I hope this helps.

Have you done any mods on the bike or is it stock? Also how does it handle on the road as far as vibration goes? Loved the video by the way.
I use a JD piggy back fuel controller and a best-dualsports endcap. Helps a lot. Other than that. Steering Damper and a lot of protective pieces. 1 Gallon larger tank. Seat Concepts seat. I put some balance weights on the wheels to get rid of the vibration caused by the rim locks. Now its totally smooth running.

Hey mate, greetings from Australia. What handguard / mirror combo are you running. They look good and should keep my baby street legal.
I run the Probend alu-guards, but added the Zeta plastic hand-guards with the LED blinkers (required an additional hole to be drilled. Was easy). The bikes need to be street legal up there. It is great fun up there though.

Have you ridden the maple spring side? Would you say ortega to Santiago is more technical than maple springs? I haven't done this side yet but I often ride on maple springs.

I rode my chopper up that a bunch of years ago when I lived in the O.C. ...not nearly that fast, but I made it. I'm buying a couple of cheap little dual sport in the next few months. I got teens who just told me they want to learn to ride and I live in a place where street bikes are all about fu@kin' clubs and wannabees. I'd rather just ride. Nice vid, dude.
Awesome. What tires are you running?
I had Dunlop D606's on. Since then, I did switch to Motoz Tractionator Desert HT's. I like both. Dunlop seems to have more stability off road, but the Motoz don't wear as quickly.
Cool video. That sand looked tough! Personally I have only taken my KTM 1190 off road once in Gorman, California. I dropped it, once fairly bad and a couple of tip overs. I imagine a small, light bike would be much easier to handle. I enjoyed this, and I liked the music choice!
