@dinkbaby9563 Absolutely! I use it to add strength to make press on nails more durable. You can use it to apply press on nails, but I would only suggest that for light colored nails. The lamps have a hard time penetrating darker colors. If it isn't cured all the way you could develop an allergy.

Great question. No, it had to do with the chemical makeup of the product. Although dip powders are essentially acrylic, a true dip powder is really fine and can only be used as a dip powder. Unless labeled as a 2 n 1 product, I would use dip and acrylic powders according to how they're marketed.

Thanks so much for your questions. This method does not damage my nails nor make my nails weak. It actually promotes nail growth. Rubber base is amazing! It reinforces your natural nails, amongst other things, so if you do have weak or brittle nails it'll add some strength to your nails. You definitely want to make sure you soak your nails until the product is soft. Forcing the product off can damage your natural nails. I hope this info helps.

VERY helpful video; ty! I'm JUST starting to try gel nail (tips) on my own. Bought the Kiss Salon-X kit but the glue lifts after a day or two and I prep AS instructed and cure an extra 2 mins. So...now looking at buying a new lamp, clear gel tips...my question is "does this base coat replace a gel nail glue"? I THINK that's what you're basically saying but want tbs!!

Hi! If you're doing a simple gel mani and just want a color change, no. You can file down to the base layer, clean up any dust, and reapply your gel polish. The rubber base and nail tips are soak off friendly, so you can remove it by soaking in acetone when you're ready. I hope the info is helpful. 💖

Thank you!! 💖 Yes, you can use Rubber Base to glue tips. You just apply a small amount to the tip or your nail, hold the nail in place to apply the nail then cure. You don't have to apply a layer to your nail first. @lovedbyverdienails has a video on her channel using this method to apply tips.

Thanks! I use it for my daughter. The bottom isn't reinforced, so when you pick it up, all the water weighs it down. I haven't had any issues, but a tiny hole would cause a problem.
