​@@Wavydavy559 That has absolutely nothing to do with SCE stocking those nice trout in that little cove to be fished out a few days... if that. Few made it to the main lake. A total waste of fish except those few who took home multiple poundage of trout from multiple limits... plus! The reason Shaver has a great population is because of heavy stocking. Fortunately most stockings in the past have not been stocked as reckless as this. See any catch and release, even when lip hooked? Nope. 100% meat fishermen. Limit ok. Over limit? Inexcusable. I saw several fisher persons in that video that no way caught their limit of trout, but I would bet their limit was caught and then some by others. No trippin here. I just can't stand watching laziness by the stocking folks and greed by those not even having any awareness/ responsibility with a channel that they post such sickening videos thinking they are being cool or great fishermen. I only fish the docks whenever there's no boats like for renting or owner boats and no sign for No dock fishing

No you can't, 5 to 7 years ago they allowed it, me and a buddy were fishing on the docks and asked a employee at the marina if it was ok. However the past few years they have a sign up now that clearly says "NO FISHING"

Go 99 south, get off on selma on 43 and go straight to to handford. Keep going straight til u hit 198, go about 2 miles while on 43 after 198, and right turn on Kansas Street. About 2 miles down, make left on 10/1/2 street. Go straight down til u hit the canal. It should be 5 miles. Dnt believe me, look on map and Google earth, lol

Live minnow is the only way. If what not, try crappie jig which are white in color with blueish glitter.
