We believe that the truth of the ancient faith still speaks to the challenges of our contemporary world.
Our worship is rooted in the tradition of the “Apostles’ teaching (Holy Scripture), fellowship, the breaking of bread (Holy Communion) and the prayers” (Acts 2.42). This historic liturgy of the Church proclaims the message of the Good News that Jesus Christ-by his life, death, resurrection and ascension-can make us truly free.

John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me
Carol was the first person and friend I met my very first day coming to CotA at the museum. She welcomed me at the parking garage and showed me the way in. I sat with her and made my first friend at CotA. I will miss her abundantly. Prayers of comfort for her family and friends. ❤ 🙏

So sorry I was away and unable to attend your final service with us, Chip...God go with you and Beth, as you turn a new page, start on a new path in your lives. We are so grateful for all you have given to COTA, you have been a true blessing to the people you have shepherded Kathy Wingate
Beautiful service. I'm a recently confirmed Lutheran (in the LCMS) and have fallen in love with the liturgy of the Church. I like what you all are doing in your service, with some modern instrumentation and stylistic changes that could make the treasure of the historic liturgy more accessible to the "contemporary" crowd (without compromising it of course). I'm not sure if we'll have the perfect worship on this side of glory, but y'all are doing a tremendous job! God bless your whole congregation.
