If anything I feel like Wriothesley is being too nice here. Imagine you have a place you've guarded and elevated, with its people that you've cared for for years. So you intercepted their spies to warn them to stop crossing the goddam line, but then they sent off a bunch of kids instead. I woulda been pissed. Like how can they not see this coming?? The previous spies all went missing before, did they not foresee that possibility?? The only reason why we feel bad for the trio siblings is cuz we're doing missions on their side, if we go through the journey with Wriothesley and having to keep blocking off fatui spies we probably would've done the same to the trio. The only reason why they got mercy is because they're still kids in Wriothesley's eyes.
