Cant hear anything you are saying because there's as dirty old diesel making a din in the platform! Interesting that the tick over is four barrs on a loop!
28 is the best mode it makes different sounds as the engine moves ie horn, brakes sound when you stop etc .afc is great doing all the sounds for you start up etc worth a try
Shame is wasn't 73962 but other than that nice 🙂
Hey, great idea moving the layout. 👍 Acess is always important. I must admit I use the Peco Track Cleaning Rubber too. Have you thought of painting the walls and roof of the fiddle yard grey and adding some LED lighting? That way you could film the area kinda like an underground station? Just an idea to expand the layout. Happy Modelling
Great ideal and I like the sound of adding LEDs to the fiddle yard!!
Hii. I like tt & 0 gaughe. ABO - logo
The spirax valve runs all the time as long as there is air in the system, you just don't hear it when the loco is running
Very cool. What scale is it?
1:14 scale and thank you! 😃
Does it come with dcc chip installed? Because i keep seeing some sold as dcc ready but only a dc chip inside.
Yes this set does and there is also a DCC ready version.
You dont need a stay alive for this its a good runner. Bought same one yesterday for £250 all in.
Nice and yes I agree, just nice to have for reassurance!
Layout looks great. 👍 Happy modelling
Hi, I know you probably will not buy a new 2024 Heljan class 47 until it's down to an acceptable price level but from the information that's available today with the new Heljan class 47 now available I'm interested to know what your thoughts are regarding this model as it's going to be sometime before you do a review on it if you do one at all?, many thanks.
Can hardly see front details better look on Tri ang class 31 £15 quid for a runner 🤔 big decision on that one plenty room for D C C as well , big puller as well
On Hornby's HM7000, use function 28 for automatic sounds on moving off/stopping, including engine revs increase and horn sounding on moving off and brake squeal on stopping.
dose it run.?…??..
Absolutely rediculous price, these prices are getting rediculous now. Railway modelling was once for everyone…now it’s aimed at those who are more wealthy than others. Nearly £400 is a joke. You can’t convince me otherwise. The industry has gone greedy
You can buy this one with all the bells and whistles for a lot less than £300.
I totally agree, I paid £400 for an old car that lasted two years. Just stupid. I blame the model rail enthusiasts, if we didn't buy them at this price then the price would soon come down.
Great sound. Is this ESU HiFi?
Yes bachmann use ESU decoders and it’s a dual speaker setup and that all comes as standard with there new sound models I believe.
@@railwaydays7596 thanks
Hi. Where's the charm of the 1938 stock? True, they needed a lick of paint, but...
Hi and yes I was hoping to see them but I think they have only stopped until recently!
Excellent combo
Yes and the 66
Not to different to a 59 sound..?
Looks great, will you be following the Hornby track pack system or making your own modifications?
Hi, just wondering where you got the track plan from. looks great for a small area.
Thank you and yes it’s only 6 by 4 feet! Was not my design unfortunately as I bought the layout from someone else.
Try a better light it will give you a better depth of field.
Why didn't it move? Surely thats the point of a demonstration ...
Yea apologies I think I pressed something on the controller that put it in drive lock!
Thank you for the explanation it certainly clears my mind about your presentation (good luck)
That's the worse presentation I have ever seen
Thanks
not a kids game anymore more for old men.
Hi have a look @Steven TT 120
Excellent lots of info
Thank you! 👍
I can smell the 37s exhaust here in Sussex!
Whole lot of nothing going on, a year after launch and barely anything to populate a layout.
Hi, very good review, I have a newly tooled class 47 which in my opinion is a superb locomotive, it’s a standard model that I have added a motorised roof fan unit which goes straight into to loco where there is a position for the 2 way connector on the pcb, I have a Legoman sound decoder which sounds superb, for me it is the best class 47 you can buy to date, the price Bachmann want for their trains, wagons, coaches, buildings etc are way way too high, logic tells you that if the price was lower you’d sell more. When I heard Bachmann were bringing out a new dcc control system I thought the high prices were supporting the development of it, I believe most modellers wait for sales of Bachmann items to come up because their items are usually at an affordable price, not all of us have Swiss bank accounts!
Yes I agree with the model is brilliant and yes the prices have gone crazy. Maybe the high un realistic retail price is putting into consideration retailers usually give you 15% discount instead of the 10% that comes from Hornby. However plenty of good discounts to be found out there!!
Whattttttt??? Nope!
I’ve heard mixed reviews about this loco! I have the exact same model which I’m very pleased with. I friend at my club has had to send his one back, which ran an performed well at first but then went wrong and he’s had to send it back! I have a Manor which is lovely but needs an update to make the sound, sound better! My Deltic says in the shed as every time I run it , some detail or other comes off! If this is where the hobby should be then it saddens me!😢
Yes I agree with you that quality control seems to be a common issue across all the manufacturers! Possibly because their mass produced in large quantities??
I received my 37s last week one of which was a blue one which when I tried it when you started the engine it fired up and then died. Got in touch with Accurascale and they told me to alter the CV63 to 150 and now sounds perfect. The lights all work and haven't touched the the switches. Just ran out straight out of box
Interesting - mine ran with full sound for around an hour then fell silent but still running. I haven't had time to investigate it, this is useful, many thanks.
@@michaelwhiles5282 Thanks. No problem. I had also D6703 at the same time. No problem but the blue 37 had this problem. But now sorted didn't want to do anything until I heard from Accurascale as if I had to return it it would probably affect the guarantee.
It’s certainly not worth that price, it’s getting beyond a joke now with the price since all lockdowns have been lifted.
Hi All, has anyone had issues with the lights not working? I receive 37001 last week, and none of the lights work. I’ve checked the switches under the Loksound chip and they are set correctly. Really frustrating as it’s a superb model.
I had issue with the sound as when the engine started up it fired up then died. Got in touch with Accurascale who told me to change CV63 to 150 and it now works perfectly.
Hi I spoke to accurascale regarding the dcc switches and they said if you have a dcc sound fitted loco the switches should be set at the factory so you don't have to remove the decoder hope this helps
Mine was set as per the analogue when received, not the sound fitted one, so just be aware of that!
Did you sought your lights out?
Hi Did you sort out the problem with your lights?
Yes, sort of, and they were just very dim. The problem at the moment is I can't seem to get the drivers desk light off in the cab! 😔
I have the same problem that I cannot get any lights to work, I have checked the switches and they are set ok so what am I missing?@@railwaydays7596
Many years ago Hornby had 'synchrosmoke' for its steam locos. A great system although unfortunately it made everything sticky due to the oil necessary to make it work. I wonder if a manufacturer will be able to overcome that in some way, and start including 'clag' for diesels? When I watched this video and heard the engine start, I almost expected to see plumes of black clag erupting from the vents.
TRS Trains does a service of fitting DCC sound locos with smoke (water vapour) synchronised to the sounds. They’ve done it for both steam & diesel. youtube.com/@trstrains9330?si=yhKvKf1uzt1Q_VKH Hornby is coming back with smoke units early next year which will also be pre-fitted to sound models of the LNER 2007, BR 60103 “Flying Scotsman” & LMS 44726. This will be water vapour also
Yes that would be great. I know dapol have a smoke unit in there class 59s so that could be coming sooner than we think! Let's hope so anyway!! 😃
TRS atomised water for steam
Hi, a cracking loco, I have just received D6702, which is very similar to yours, they are just amazing. You said you took the chip out to set the switches as per the instructions..........Were they set correctly or did they need altering. I just assumed mine were set for the ESU decoder from the factory........Just curious................All the best Dave.
I assumed the same as yourself, and I decided to check and good job I did as they were not set as specified on my loco!
@@railwaydays7596 Oh, that's interesting, I'll have to check mine now...............although it all seems to function as it should. Got me thinking! Thanks for your reply, all the best Dave.
I really wish they would export TT-120 to Trainworld here in the colonies cause all we have is Hornby OO.
Thanks for posting this. Is this TT120? or 00? I don't see it on Hornby's website anyway..
Sorry, I meant to mention in the video that it's oo gauge.
I believe a tt 31 is their hornbys future plans, though!!
Nice loco, bit confused as why you can’t use the app? This has the AFC setting which gives breaking sound etc when stopping.
Yes, sorry, I might not have explained it well, and I couldn't use the app as I was filming from my phone. Thanks for letting me know that information on the automated sounds.
TT is a very nice gauge. Not too small that it would be too much fiddling. Not too big that you don't have room to build a proper layout. You can see with this system that you can really build a lot on this plate. Especially for regular apartments, H0/OO often only has room for circles. The large express steam locomotives don't come into play here.
. Would like to see a steam goods engine.
Looks good.
With more buildings, it could really be a gorgeous layout!!
I spy the new mk2fs in the siding
great video really enjoyed it, seriously thinking of coming back to model railays with the easterner, hope to see more of your tt content subbed
Thank You glad you enjoyed the video! Yes I can highly recommend this scale. I also do oo gauge aswell but prefer this scale over it in my opinion!
yeah done it, bought easterner and track packs plus a few bits more, put away till santa comes@@railwaydays7596
