Inspired by the shopping trolley in front of my house, I went out seeking answers to where these abandoned trolleys were coming from.

During lockdown we had no where to go, so I picked up Unreal and this is my first project using it. The project first started off as a tutorial but ended up being a short as I learnt more about the program. Overall it looks a bit janky, but I am proud of the results. You certainly have a lot of talent for making films that are instantly memorable as well as making sense of one man’s rediscovery of his love for music that he has missed so many years ago. You can always remember that no matter how good or passionate you once have before, you can always go back to something you loved as long you put your mind and heart to it. My dad once played guitar but after the passing of his wife from end stage dementia, he lost interest.

A lovely short, well done. So many shorts tend towards the dark side of life, yours is beautifully lit for the dark, but is light! Great colours and atmosphere - reminds me of In The Mood For Love.
