    What is the limit on the round trip time (T_Loop) and on the reply time (T_Reply)? Is it theoreticaly possible (assuming the UWB encryption key is known) to chatch the responce decrypt it, increase the T_Reply, encrypt and send back to the initiator. This way the calculated ToF would be lower than the real ToF.

      Signal travel time (time of transmission as recorded by the transmitter - time of signal arrival as recorded by the receiver). The signal propagates at the speed of light. Of course it's not as simple, as it assumes the clocks of receiver/transmitter are synchronized to a high level. Simple example, if there's a clock difference between the two of 10 ns, it corresponds to an error in distance of (10ns * speed of light) = ~ 3 meters
