Founded in 1872 at Syracuse University in New York, Alpha Phi International Fraternity is an organization dedicated to promoting sisterhood, cultivating leadership, encouraging intellectual curiosity and advocating service. The Lambda Chapter at UC Berkeley was established in the early 1900's, and we strive to keep the Alpha Phi tradition alive not only through our own pursuit of friendships within Alpha Phi, but also through efforts to give back to our Cal community!

I'd rather hang myself then send my kids to Berkeley. I get the feeling a degree from there isn't going to be worth shit in the very near future. I certainly would not hire a Berkeley graduate.
The people protesting at Berkeley do not reflect the quality of education at the school. Berkeley has one of the top economics programs in the nation, as well as one of the top business schools in the nation. Many graduates go on to work at Goldman Sachs in San Francisco or New York, Merrill Lynch, and many other large financial institutions. I understand that your political bias is hard to get around, but please, don't let it cloud your judgment. I'm a republican too and I would very much hope that my son or daughter had the privilege to attend Berkeley, the top public school in the nation.
