myself and wife have been threatened by doctors for asking questions. I have seen bad things been done to other people. They tried to give me electric therapy against my will for asking what tablets they are given. Didnt like being treated differently to ordinary people in the system. So I got out of it but I am dealing with on my own. It is tough but I am not going back into that health system.

The HSE has never empowered me. I haven’t been offered any worthwhile support. The reality is not everyone can “recover”. A lot of people are left on the fringes of society, barely surviving or just left to die. Ireland’s mental health service is practically non existent. They spend more money on these cartoon videos then care for patients
