how do you mount your camera to the glider?

Is it only legal to fly into IMC, or bust the minimums if you are in a glider? so confused.

im unfamiliar with this type of flying, but are you allowed to fly into IMC in a glider?

1:39 There's an older FI at my club (bit of a legend really) and I've flown with him like 3 times and one time in the K13 I did the launch and he said "and now raise your hands and clap for me!". I was pretty confused for a few seconds until I realized he wanted to see if I trimmed the aircraft correctly ^^

It was all going smoothly until he met someone else flying the convergence going in the opposite direction ...

I like the footage with hail off to the side, it really puts the airspeed in perspective.

Bad decisions are not great, but what’s even worse is being rewarded for bad decisions. Land outs are part of the game. Looks like you are doing all the right things.

The pub was closed lol :D I once had tail landing with std cirrus (tower at least said it was), the bloody thing bounced so much, that suddenly I was at about 20 degree dive from 0.5 meter height. The impact pushed my whole weight to front, so I was pushing on the stick and the angle increased even more. I almost shit myself, but the plane was fine. Shortest landing ever probably.

That's crazy. I've actually seen water fall inside the canopy. I opened my sealed metal water bottle after climbing 6,000 feet and it turned into a fountain drenching me 😂

congrats, nice one. i remember my first 500k, definitely was a big milestone btw; either your yawstrings aren't perfectly aligned or you're always pushing a little right rudder, at least thats what it looks like 😅 but dont worry i do that a lot too, maybe my right leg is just longer lol
