The most kept talking birds are Indian ring neck, macaw, raw, African grey parrot, amazon green parrot, eclectus, cockatoo, conures and lorries. In all these eclectus have some unique qualities. The male eclectus parrot is green in color and female is Red with blue on neck. Male eclectus also exibit corn colored beak and blue, red and yellow colored wings on back and tail. On the other hand the female eclectus is black beaked and blue breasted.

Great idea w/balls in a bowl!
The only thing that worries me, is how chicken bones easily makes sharp bone spurs, which is why we’re told *never* to feed chicken bones to our dogs as they may poke holes in their digestive tract - I would worry that the same could happen to a bird’s crop and rest of their digestive system… I would feed other bones than chicken, just to be on the safe side! PS! Little Coco Too (Goffin’s) of Lucky Lou & Coco Too, had managed to swallow a big piece of a stick (over an inch long! That’s big for that small bird) a while ago. She got pretty sick and when she couldn’t pass it, she had to have big time surgery. She was critical for days to a week, but finally she pulled through and could come home after a couple of weeks inpatient in an incubator. These guys are so vulnerable!!! SMH

My eclectus won't talk when he's near me. He'll talk like crazy when I leave the room. Then he'll start calling mom. mommy. mom. mommy's home? until I go get him. And for some reason he doesn't say peakaboo he'll say Pikachu lol.
