เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 8 พ.ค. 2023
I have been a collector of retro toys and products since 2008, it all started with a trip to Hams Hall Car Boot where I found a childhood toy I always wanted from Star Wars - Greedo, just like that my inner child was healed and I fell in love with Retro becoming a passionate collector.
This started off as a hobby and I traded my finds for G.I.Joe merchandise and Vintage Star Wars.
I now need to go part time with my job due to health issues so would like to continue selling retro toys and products at an affordable price.
I will take you around Carboot and Flea Markets so join me and my partner Stacey as we show you the fantastic car boot finds we have made and what the value is of them.

The red chrome is from the Best Of '87 pack
Thanks for that pal - what's it worth?
Keep doing what you are doing 😀 I prefer genuine TH-camrs, not those who think they are superior than others or flaunt their bodies to get views.
Haha that made me laugh, well I certainly won't be flaunting anything l😅
Enjoyed the video make a video of what intrests you to resell you be suprised how many people likewatching them always good to learn good luck with your knees
Thank You Mr B Lucky and for all your help in the early days.
Cheers Scott, always willing to help
Keep trying different types of videos, the ones that hit, do more of them.
Your welcome - you have helped and brought a lot of people together - and don't get compliments easily. It takes a lot to impress me.
I remember the best Christmas of my life was in 1986. I couldn't have been older than 3 or 4. It snowed that Christmas and I recall coming down stairs and seeing all of the toys under the tree and the snow coming down. I got so many Thundercats stuff and Monster Lab and my older sisters had all the quintessential girl toys, like Cabbage Patch dolls and stuff. After that Christmas gradually felt less and less like Christmas every year. Nothing could top that perfection.
1985 and 1986 were the best year for toys produced for girls - in the 90s toy standards dropped and it was all about gaming
Thank you for watching
Lovely to see some of the old toys I had! 😀
Youre wrong: these Aldi "center aisle" items are available for one week only beginning rach Wednesday (in New York State anyway)...low-income parents unlikely to get to Aldi in time. What i do is buy sone to resell but ALWAYS donate two items of each type I buy to local holiday toy charity efforts (vis church or drop-off at local tien hall, etc) as THIS IS how poor parents get toys for their kids best (these charities also deliver a holiday food basket so I drip off non-perishables like canned meats or fruits or cereal box).
Sir, I am not sure what your name but I love your philosophy on this, its a win win both ways - you make a little profit but you give back by donating also - I tip my hat off to you.
Thanks for the video. Apart from converse the others I haven't heard or seen way down west cornwall. 😢. Will have to wait till we go up north on our hols lol. Take cate jason🙂
Thanks Jason, what's sourcing like in Cornwall?
@Flippingwolfresells I only get time to source on a Saturday as I work full time Mon to Fri. so lots of competition lol. And to be honest prices have gone up so much but not to worry. It's fun trying to find a bargain and even better when it sells. J
Very pleased to see Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders take #1 spot. That, Maniac Mansion, Elvira, and hundreds more adventure games I play now in ScummVM.
@d.-_-.b Thanks for watching, what is Scumm VM? Sounds good.
@@Flippingwolfresells ScummVM started as a reimplementation of the SCUMM (script creation utility for Maniac Mansion) engine in a way for it to be ported to many Operating Systems. Since then they've added more adventure gaming engines (almost 100 so far) so all you need is the game data without the need to install any games separately. I have it running on my Raspberry Pi 400 (system inside a keyboard 😊)
Defender of the Crown was a SERIOUSLY good game… (from memory…) 😊
Cracking game, I do miss some of the old games - covering Amiga next
@ About 10 years ago I managed to find Defender of the Crown on the iPad… It was incredible to play again. The excitement of trying to destroy a castle wall with a catapult… Incredible. 😊
@Chriswatney have you ever played Bannerlord 2? That is an amazing game
@@Flippingwolfresells Defender of the Crown was only surpassed by Iron Lord which I mostly loved for the awesome music composition.
I always wanted a pair of red kicker shoes with the flower motif and my Dad wouldn't buy them. Far too expensive. So my Mum, always scouting around for bargains came upon a pair of real leather navy rugh hated them. Obviously fake kickers. All the girls teased me, because I made a fake Kickers logo out of leather to make them much realistic. These where made, my replica ones of great leather they looked similar however, they every big clunky shoes boots whatever I was called fake George by my friend Jo Scalley 😢I still cannot afford a pair of cutesome red boots by Kicker. Always felt outside of high expectation fashion. I loved these boots. So cutesome. Oh well. I will try making money by selling them, maybe? 😂😢❤
Loved that story - my mother used to get me fake Puma and Adidas from Polesworth Market 😆 I loved them. Sometimes don't you wish we would have kept some of that old stuff. Well you can treat yourself to a red pair now, you can pick them up for about £20 now, the prices have dropped off recently.
Why do you use American ebay prices? American Prices are always high.
Because they are the only examples listed on Ebay unfortunately - that's why I adjust my values on some.
I should sell at the car boot if I can get £40 more there for a Harry Potter game than on Ebay 😂
A really good video. Stafford Toy Fair always has variety.
Good content, bit different !!
Thank You that means a lot.
great toy line ..i have loads of these boxed and loose

Just found this guys channel and thoroughly enjoying it.

Some resellers are ruthless. I cant stand people who are like vultures to a fresh carcass all over people before theyve even had a chance to empty there boot. Most brits grow up with manners and morals unfortunately other ethnic groups were not and personally my local car boot is like a middle east market now its chaos and i actually feel sorry for the sellers . That first hour selling you can see the stress in there eyes.
Manners are critical to me, its sad to see the world go down this path, you still come across some good manners now and then.
Have you not got a local auction house mate? Good way to clear the clutter and get some quick cash 👍
Yeah we have an auction for house clearance locally, I can be good at times.
Definitely some ethical dilemmas at times when reselling. It was the same with the Aldi bluey and bingo chairs. I know a couple of mums whose kids would have loved them but they couldn’t get them because of how much they were resold for. The whole point of Aldi selling them is for things to be more affordable 😢
Thanks Caitlin, pleased you know where i am coming from, it was tempting to make some extra cash, sure could use it but not this way.
1984 was when us casuals put the French fancies over our toes !! Had blue shoes in 84 , red shoes early 85 and then brown suede hi boots in 89-90 for the Madchester period !! Chipie jeans , kicker boots and a Naff Naff hoodie ❤❤
It is a difficult one. I understand resellers all buy to sell at a higher rate for profit. Though the people I know of who have been buying the wooden toys are on 35k to 40k jobs and drive flashy cars and don’t need the money - greed. People could buy all this and then not sell and be stuck with the stock so that is the risk. People have a choice and do not have to give in to price hikes.
Totally get the sentiment Scott and I’ve not personally bought any of this stuff. However, you could argue that buying toys and clothing etc… from the car boot sales and flipping them for maximum profit is even worse than buying from Aldi. The toys and clothing are generally low cost and could also benefit low income families who are able to buy quality goods and brands at a fraction of the full price. This also applies to buying from any location including charity shops. So I guess my question is, what the difference? (I’m playing devils advocate here).
Totally agree with your comment. At the end of the day we are business and if we starting to draw a line we never gonna grow.” “Robbing poor families “ in the carboot sale is worth then buying from a retailer and make money . I agreee with the other side as well BUT, there is no chance with this big inflation to left behind anything what is profitable. Most of the small businesses is struggling, surviving and if i can make a few quid on this items i’m gonna do that without any bad feelings. Also We are in our early 30s but i still scare to make a family even i have savings. Most of the youngster already have 2 kids but for what/where? Big percentage of single moms got the benefits and they not even worked a minute in their life … Maybe I’m rude but this is the truth just to open your eyes! This is the country where if you want to work , you can work! If you want to be a successful business then you can do it ! This is the country where you have a chance to build your life as high you want ! I know what I’m talking about because we are coming from Hungary !Never gonna scare to make a quid on anybody as this how my business work! BUY CHEAP AND SELL for PROFIT!
I get where your all coming from - believe you me I want to make as much profit as possible, and Chris you know I have a lot of respect for you as you are fair with people. Most of the toys I sell are vintage and brought by adult collectors. For me it's a personal preference - when my two daughters were little we were in extreme debt, they wanted Monster High but scalpers had brought them all selling them for ridiculous amounts. It was only rich kids that got one that year, my two missed out. Not judging anyone by any means it's just my personal preference - I am a stubborn bugger at times, and I am opting out of this one.
Actually you have given me an idea - a way to make profit but also try and help poorer families out.
@@Flippingwolfresells Everyone have different thoughts about everything :) To be honest we don’t have anything like this when we was kid as we coming from a poor country! I was more than happy to stay out with friends without any toys at that time! Just the bike and a soccer ball! This is how we made memories in the 90’s. trying to judging you but this what all about reselling! Sorry if i was rude . At the end of the day this is how i feed my family :) I totally understand where you coming from but i got more likely upset then emotional because of this video ! Anyway , keep up the good work and still gonna watching your videos ! Also congratulations to the 1k sub 👋😇
@endlesstreasure6711 No your not rude at all, I respect people who speak up, and those were the days, we used stay out on our bikes until sundown - the Amiga was a bit of destruction at times, but I think they were happier times that's why I do Nostalgic videos. Thanks for the congrats and I understand you got a family to feed so not judging anyone for doing it. I get a bit passionate about the rich - poor divide in this country, as me and my family are in the latter - and I just seeing as the market being closed to poor families in favour of the rich - I have this honor code I try and live by - sometimes I take it too far.
Take my hat off too you sir I feel the same as well doesn’t sit right with me also 🧢
Well said and well done for not joining the rest on youtube selling these at extortionate prices.
Great video 🎉my brother only had sisters so action man used to marry Sindy We’d be millionaires if we never played with the Star Wars, action man, He-man, barbies 😂

@@luciescarbootsaleloot7277 I had this happen once with a PGA Golf Kit - Ebay are brilliant with the global shipping programme - pleased you got your money back
Everyone is their own reseller these days so it's difficult to make a living out of it, but ya know, if you can resell you do other things to make better money than reselling.
Some absolutely disgusting troll comments on here. I am not a reseller but I am not going to get out of bed early when people list this same stuff on Ebay for less money. I find the overpricing at car boots is resellers with their own tables 🙄
Thank You - it was mostly resellers selling at the Car Boot.
I can't stop all the haters. Some people brand resellers as these terrible people who rip others off and I get why you would feel like that - some resellers do. I personally never haggle people if I am getting a good deal, I have a rule where if its parent and child I tell the parent what it's worth in most cases. I don't film the people I am buying from I film the table. Resellers have the hassle of items taking a long time to sell, some stuff being broken and of course working out your taxes - it's not all roses and sunshine. I resell because I don't have any other choice, I lost a huge part of my life due to an accident and I can no longer work full time in manual work, I have a family to provide for and I am losing atm. If reselling will help put food on the table then that's my mission - it's better than being out of work altogether and on benefits.
@@Flippingwolfresells I don't think reseller's are terrible people at all , I just find it disappointing to hear criticism of other people that have also gotten up really early too shift a few bits and provide for their families. I don't pretend to know anyone's circumstances, maybe they are asking too much but I think it's best to just look on another stall & not complain about them.
Hilarious. Moaning about the price being too high so that you can't go on to sell it for a high price! The lack of self-awareness is amazing!
Reseller moans a bitches cause seller wants what the item is worth
Every carboot in the country are well aware of the eBay Vinted Etsy sellers wanting ALL the profit out of their items . That’s the trouble you face I suspect filming it then gloating on TH-cam does you resellers no favours what so ever . Also people are sick of being filmed for TH-cam also
@@petersutherland2075 absolutely
To reply to the hate again - I am just doing this to make a living - I had to go part time at work after an accident left me partially disabled. Everybody has the right to earn a living for their family and this is the only option I have - I physically cannot do manual work anymore.
@@Flippingwolfresells Hate ? Get a grip
But the ad rev they earn on TH-cam pays well so it's win win for em
@robertwells3797 I don't get any ad money atm - when you hit 4000 hours it happens, I think it's like $2 for every 1000 views - it depends on the subject matter.
Crazy isn't it, how dare someone ask £15 for a teddy when that's what you want to sell it for 😂😂😂🤡. Don't try and shame people, if you think it's too expensive for you just don't pay it.
Sad carry on
@@petersutherland2075 🤣🤣🤣
No it was only worth £10, plus you have fees and everythingelse. If my health allowed it, I wouldn't be on the fields at 5:30 a.m. doing this to try and provide for my family. There's nothing more in the world that I would love than to be doing a full time like, like I did for 27 years before my accident but I have a family to provide for - that's why I resell.
@@Flippingwolfresells I appreciate where your coming from but to be honest we don't know other people's circumstances and they may be just trying to provide for their families too.
Seller has every right to ask what they want ....full stop!......if you don't want to pay just say thankyou and walk away ....easy 😊
