Please mate..... when mentioning them, you say The Thompson Twins.....not just Thompson Twins. I'm amazed you thought 'A Product of....' had no tracks on it at all, of note! Then for 'Set', I knew you would pick 'In The Name Of Love' as the only song thats good... ('Blind'? 'Runaway'?) I was cosigned to a hospital bed for a fortnight when you claimed the highlights of 'Quick Step & Side Kick' were 'Love On Your Side' , 'If You Were Here' and 'We Are Detective'!!! No one cared about 'If You Were Here' until it was featured in that rom-com film. Any imbecile knows 'All Fall Out' is the best song on QSASK!

How nice to know that there are people so passionate about Alphaville, for me the best group ever, of Prostitutes, my favourite, you forgot the best ‘All in th golden afternoon’ and ‘Euphoria’.

I just loved this! Alphaville is one of the bands of my life, i really adore their music and watching this review for each of their albums was such a pleasent surprise for me. I also loved the blue cat with your voice, that's really cute! I agree with most of your comments and favorite tracks. About 'Strange Attractor', i was initially disappointed with it because of its darker mood and less use of synths, but it grew on me. 'Salvation' is fabulous indeed! Thank you for this video. Got a new subscriber.

Another enjoyable review, cold you please do some more 80's synth pop: album reviews with a combo with some with guitars as well like starting with: the first 3 hit 80's albums for: Howard Jones- Human's Lib, Dream into Action, + One to One, Nik Kershaw hit albums-Human Racing, The Riddle, Sandra-The Long Play, Mirrors, + into a secretland, Camouflage-Voices & Images, Methods of Silence! That would be great!

Really liked this review, shame they never took of in the US as they should of done as they had other hit singles/albums in many parts of Europe and a few outside like in: Japan, South Africa, + New Zealand! As your from the US, have you been on holiday/vacation outside of Amercia??

I love many of his albums but this last one for me sounds very commercial. It’s not the edgy stuff or ambient beauty that I have grown to love but I feel since the other band member left that edgy side has vanished.

In regards to Prophet. Don't think of it as Ronan critiqueing religion in general. I and a few others who have sat back and listened to this album see it as calling out those who would use "religion" for personal gain. Just look at those who broadcast and insist those to "give, give, give for the Lord to save your place in heaven." It's how I see the track.

One record company executive famously referred to them as "the Vanguard of the alternative."

I have a weird recommendation! Listen to Ostavi sve - Max & Intro Yugoslavia had some great new wave and synthpop :)
