I did read what the other guys have written. I know that different schools and federations teach the forms differently. I'm just going by how my style does the form. That's all. In our version of Bassai then are sequences that are slow and ones that are fast.

The strengh was amazing , too fast , yes it was too fast BUT if you slow it just a lil with the same strengh will be ok BUT ALL OF THE POSTURES WERE WRONG...

Way too fast, slow down. If he was testing/competing under me I wouldn't have given him very high scores.

Don't know if you are reading this stuff anymore, but i'd offer some constructive criticism: You are hunching your shoulders through most of the form. By keeping your upper body straight, it will force you to snap the moves. This might alleviate the 'rushed' feeling you have in the video (we can also chalk some of that up to video quality).

dude, any kata performed that way is just... wrong... too fast, no finesse, no form, no sharpness to the movement and the stances were horrible, sorry bro but keep practising

That seemed to be the main issue in your form so I'm glad you have sorted it out. One of my instructors said that when doing a form, say stop (in your head) after each move. Even if the stop lasts a quarter of a second, it helps you to conciously slow down your form.

Nice. You're good all-around, which is hard to do. This guy is not hacking, anyone who knows the game knows that. I love the Bruteshot scene, it's a fav of Halo 2, and it kicks ass if used properly.

I have been practicing Tang Soo Do and have developed my Bassai into a very strong tournament form. The main thing I noticed was that the entire form was rushed. It was very difficult to differentiate between techniques which is what the judges are looking for. Perhaps there are differences between tournaments I attend and those you attend, but I have learned the hard way that doing it fast is not the way to go. You need to slow down a lot and focus on making all your techniques more pronounced

lol no skill? hes good at getting headshots fast, thats a really handy skill.

i'm in karate as well i haven't been in it for long and i'm bout to test for my green belt. i thought that performance was wonderful i do loads of tornament and i just got my sis into doing them. but its was good and tell'm to keep up the good work.

i dont know about the audience being amazed and i have seen better but all in all it was good. And im not sure if it was an inside crescent he did near the end but if it was maybe he should try and make his leg more straight. but still pretty good

it seemed to work best when driver was host but we really didnt see a difference, however in the video it looks easy but it can be difficult, If you are trying it you have to look at every detail the posion and angle of the vehicle when and where i shot the rocket. Good Luck
