So welcome back to another carburetor removal and installation,
i will remove part by part on this Hitachi-Daf 328-6 carburetor. usually this carburetor was used on the L16 engine datsun 510.

Datsun 510 rust and cheap find, not gonna sure how I'm gonna restore it, but yes this is gonna be worth saving, even though the part is getting expensive nowadays. Lately not into this project and very long time not posting any video due to my house got broke by someone which they stole my welding machine. I'm quite upset as this happen to me. So here is the video hope I got a chance to rebuild...

You should use impact screw driver to loosen that screw. Not to damage them

Salam dari Indonesia. Saya pengguna mobil mitsubishi kuda 1,6 .dngn kode engine 4G18. Keluhannya Boros . 1liter =8km.bisa kah saran lebih irit lagi.

Cara buka mainjet,pada saat karburator masih terpasang..saya buka ,tapi yag terbuka cuma tutup saja,dan mainjet susah dicabut..mohon petunjuk.. Salam dari Banten,Indonesia.
bang nk tanya, sye dah buat repair kit....tapi mainjet dalam saya tk bukak....sye tukar o-ring Mixturescrew je, batang mainjet tu ada oring kena tukar eh? sye dah setting angin sampai 8 full turn pun masih tetap keluar asap mcm petrol lebih

@@yayoigarage1517 Needle saya dah tukar bang, sye beli carb wira saya amik masuk carb saya. Saga mahathir 1.5. Needle ori dah reput hujung. Saya setting angin tu dekat Main Jet Plug tu betulkan?....sye bukak 8 Full turn....yang MAS screw apa tu atas main jet plug dengan Main jet belah dalam sye tak usik masa repair kit....dalam dia ada o-ring ke tu? o-ring screw main jet plug je tukar. Auto choke tak pakai, vacuum hose ke ignition distributor tak pakai, kalau pakai biol timing. Lubang dua blakang manifold tutup looping hose. Start senang, coldstart tk keluar asap. Engine panas keluar asap halus nipis. Nak pusing Screw main jet plug lebih dari 8 full turn dah kedalam sangat tu. Mintak ilmu bang.

kemungkinan bahagian pin pada pelampung minyak tidak dpt mengawal kemasukkan minyak berlebijhan, dan membawak kepada lebihan minyak ke dalam pembakaran, cuba periksa pada needle valve yang ada pada pelampung

Bang.. Cara nk set angin dan minyak can mna bang.. Berape putaran minyak.. Berape putaran angin.. Kalau ad vidio lg ok..
bole cuba adjust MAS (mixture adjusting screw, clockwise minyak lebih, anti clockwise minyak kurg, setiap engine berlainan setting, kena adjust sampai dpt tahap keberkesanannya
Ini just buka and nak buang, je....

yes it got oring inside, need to open slowly and need to replace if the rubber wear/very hard if feel on it surface

how to Fuel Cost Adjustment
Mine measure about 0.4mm
video bagus untuk rujukan nak buka dan pasang balik. cuma sikit perkongsian ilmu yang serba kekurangan... gunakan impact screw driver untuk buka screw yang degil, jadi tak lah rosak screw tu dan boleh pasang balik dengan sempurna. saya guna benda ni untuk buka carburetor saya. kalau mata screw haus, guna dremel atau rotary tool kecil untuk buat lurah flat atas kepala skru guna sand disc, lepas tu guna impact driver mata flat. kalau betul cara, insyaAllah jadi dan tak rosak.
