Don’t use the aux input on those cheap Bluetooth devices. I used it for mine initially and I only got sound out of one speaker. It’s better to just bust out the RCA cables to get sound out of both left and right speakers

Just bought a 1954 magnavox mono console. I cannot figure out how to connect a Bluetooth device to the tube amp. No RCA, no pin jacks. Any suggestionsappreciated. .

I have a 1962 Magnavox that works until I try to connect my Bluetooth receiver to the tape/aux input. All I get is a loud AC hum, so back to the drawing board. I am also rebuilding the original Magnavox record changer which was made by Collaro™of England.

Just got a similar console for my birthday and ordered the receiver for it. It'll be here on Wednesday!

If you want to fix it recap the amp and find the right record changer

I have two Magnavox console stereos, and one of them is exactly like the one in this post! The other one is from the early 70s and I like the cabinetry on it better actually. And I have added Bluetooth the both of them. It’s very easy to do!!❤

I have to say that I have one of those Bluetooth devices but I hate it because it’s constantly searches for devises to connect to when not in use. Every tv in my house would occasionally pop up with the “would you like to connect?” I ultimately stopped using it for that reason

I'm glad you decided to use the Tape Play as your inputs for blue tooth. The phono inputs have been set up for a ceramic phono cartridge and have RIAA equalization on them which will mess up the frequency response from the blue tooth.

James, just wanted to point it out to you that this is indeed a 1960's Magnavox console stereo. It is an early 1960's set because on the tuning station, which is on the AM portion, you can see the CD (Civil Defense) markings between AM 60 and 70, and on AM 120. The CD markings are the little triangle-in-circles on your console radio. On different brands of sets of radios, the CD markings are also labeled with the letters "CD." This was in the event of a nuclear war during the Cold War in the 1950's and 1960's. The CD markings were only used on these sets from the early 1950's until sometime in 1963. I thought that I'd shed some info from you, and thank you for your video! I just subscribed.

i used winbdows vista and i must tell you it is grate operating system,the thing is that you can put back on the menu thing by pressing alt button and then go to tools and options and you can put to show menu option always and you can change user settings in control panel i did not play games on vista, but i used it and ofcourse windows that have internet explorer can not load advanced scripts of youtube but you can download from google google chrome browser and then load youtube,anyways the operating system is good to be used for home usage really.Well i used for many years the operating system and i like it the reason why people who say is bad are just not got used to explore any operating systems and have no good foundation of knowing how to do things but i think and know and have posetive experience using windows vista and i have used the updated versions and the news and weather are not able to be loaded because they come from old microsoft server that is based for vista they have it no more and that is why you dont get weather and news in the sidebar gadgets.I hope you will enjoy using windows vista and the thing is that many people who been saying vista to be bad been tested with some masks and a small changes and they liked vista , anyways with such small changes windows 7 got up and then people been using windows 7 like crazy but the thing is that is just better version fo windows vista and the thing is that windows vista is foundation for all these now new windows operating systems and the minor adjustments of win 11 is that it is like linux now almost but it is most coding of system is still there of windows vista and almost nothing big of program coding is changed from the vista generation and win 7 generation which are the really 2 best operating systems ever from microsoft!

I still have an acer aspire 6530. Works really well, doing some experimenting stuff with it now.

mahjhong and freecell are still my fave games. they've saved my neck when there's been a power outage as you didn't need to be online to play microsoft games back then. as for gaming? pretty dire. if you can get it to run anything, it'll be really old pc games from about the time when it was new - and only games that were for w98. WinMe was 'ok'. I like vista a lot. it's my offline workhorse for the things I need it for. for everything else, it's all w10/android/linux.

I know there are users that have mentioned it, but there's an easier way to install old Windows onto GPT drive. If there's nothing on it, just delete all partitions and install it onto blank drive, it will partition the drive automatically itself.

its not the hdd problem.you just need to change your bios from gpt to legacy mode .
