I have a MODX8, but I don't know how to add special sounds to the library already present... Do you have any advice? Thank you 😂

Yes it would .. but .. montage costs around 4k and weight about 20 kg maybe... Not so compact solution when you played almost every day in hotels .. But I admit that montage has better sound engine and it's more handy on changing sounds and scenes. So in this Genos is the best pick on Yamaha products

@@Bittersound999 It is a good time to buy a Genos 1 right now. I have seen some in perfect condition for 2k. I think the weight difference is not that big, maybe Genos like 15Kg and Montage 7 like 17Kg. They probably cost around the same pre-owned. However, Genos doesn't have dedicated voice category buttons, Montage does.

@@Bittersound999 Prices will come down a little more over the next years anyway, so that might be a good thing. And you sound very good on your MODX! Also, I prefer the Montage/MODX performances to the full-blown and very polished Tyros/Genos arrangements. These need to be slimmed down or you have to compete against them with your right hand 🙂

@@Bittersound999 Your live looping is my favorite. And don't change your style. I can tell you just love it and that's REALLY rare on TH-cam; you're not showy, you're just enjoying yourself. I just got a MODX7+ and I'm learning how to do live looping. I'll definitely steal some tips from you:>)) I'm planning to busk in downtown Asheville and this is a very fun thing to do on the streets!

The sound of korg module comes out of the iPad with mini jack cable through the modx input jack's . No settings required just to press the on off button and put some gain from modx knobs. My modx is in the service center so I could make a video after I get it back! I hope I helped you

@@Bittersound999 Thanks for your quick answer. So I have a Montage M and a Ipad Pro. So what you do is: connect the Ipad witch the A/D input from the Keyboard. So in my case i need an cable USB-C to connect with the Ipad Pro and then connect it to the Montage M. I have Audio Input L/mono and Right. Which one do you use or a cable withe double jacks? @@Bittersound999 Ναι για τα πλήκτρα λέω, το GHC ειναι η νεα εκδοση του GHS που ειχες στο MODX. Παράξενο που λες οτι θυμίζει synth ο ήχος πάντως

@@rtracy01 thank you! Look , if you like to play with backing tracks pick the psr series not modx. But if you like to use like me pick the montage . It's more versatile as an arranger than the modx

those drumbeats are from the motif style library package that you can find on yamaha's website and you are able to imoprt it on modx. I took a latin style and modificated the patches to make my own style. I hope I helped you :)

Είναι πιο εύκολο να γράψεις στο chase cubase τα πάντα. Αυτό που κάνω εδώ δεν βολεύει τόσο. Γενικά πρέπει να μάθω να δουλεύω τα sequencers καλύτερα
