Ski patrol will come and get you.
Is this kirkwood? This is one of the first cliffs I’ve ever hit after ski school. Looks a lot gnarlier than it seems when you’re up there, especially when you take it on from the left side
yes it's kirkwood
Good thing you ‘pole-clicked’ before that huge huck…lmao!!
you soft if that little 5' cliff gives you so much pause and concern
This was low tide opening weekend on my rock skis... I wasn't in send mode.
Very nice! We are stuck in a prolonged dry pattern. We need more snow it’s pretty crusty up there now. I would love to do some laps with you. Do you ever ski on Mondays or Tuesdays at KW?
I ski 3 days a week usually. I will ski both weekend days, but I will usually also always take one weekday which I move around based on conditions and my work schedule. My weekday usually ends up being Tues, Wed, or Thurs... mostly so I can have a recovery day before or after the weekend on either end.
@ Thanks for replying. Do you have IG? I usually go Monday or Tuesday. This week I am going on Wed.
@@joeykim5533sierraskeeeee on IG. I only recently made it, so there is no content there yet. I need to start posting. Reach out... I was planning on Wed too already
orange brown jacket is one of kirkwoods top comp skiers
Love how my dude in the orange brown and black is just like “Guess I’ll just send it.” Nice!
Nice snow + fun terrain = a very good day!
Nicely done.
Skiers are such daisies.
Hot tune broski
awesome 😎
Looks fun, where you at?

Looks good!
Thanks man! Your "Slaying Kirkwood's Nooks and Crannies" video is an absolute classic I gotta say
@ Thank you! That was one hell of a ski day. Love that you’ve seen that! Small world!
@@extreme_ryan_delena I'm a long-time viewer of SkiTube... decided to throw my hat in the ring as well haha
@ Welcome to the party! I’ll give you a sub
Apologies ... Was only trying to get your algorithm going bro! Some positive criticism, trying to get your views up, good content, give us a close up tell us your story! And a bit of commentary be great ... no "woos" 😅 only JK
these slopes are so much easier than black diamond with icy bumps
It's just a different kind of skiing.
@@SierraSkier-ln3pc I always found I could ski just about anything with a few inches of snow. bumps the size of small cars with icy surfaces--I never cracked the code on that terrain.was like skiing into a wall.
@@Gsp_in_NYC I mean it depends on what we're talking about. At a certain point, big icy bumps start to become not really skiable in any enjoyable way... even for the best skiers. Like... it's possible, but it's just not enjoyable.
@@SierraSkier-ln3pc yeah--I get it. I never really discussed it in depth. Some people seemed to be able to work them, but it seemed to be incredibly athletic skiing. I probably never skied quite enough to improve, but it was one area that was just painful and I never seemed to achieve any proficiency on. I never really saw many of these fields in Europe, but they seemed to be emblematic of US runs (they just let the moguls build to something obscene)
Great video, thanks for sharing!
I hit rose yesterday. was a great day!
I haven’t been to rose yet but it looks like a nice resort
It's cooler when they open the chutes. Kirkwood is my favorite, but when you're local on the NV side, I feel like you're obligated to ski at Rose. That's really OUR mountain.
Pound for pound, this is the best ski video on TH-cam.
Not judging… but may I draw your attention to „progression in regression“ my good sir.
@ wow i just watched it. Great video. Thanks for the rec.
early season stuff ig
That's right
Atta way. Things change a little when you have well over 140” base to like a 50” base lol. Love Tahoe.
This is fuckin hilarious
😱 *Promo sm*
Let's go!!!
Good stuff! Hope you're enjoying it, looks like a blast! Keep uploading!
