Maar je heb 1 draad er van naar de antenne buiten de boot getrokken, dat andere stukje wat overblijft wat heb je daar mee gedaan? Afgeknipt of iets dergelijks.. en waar komt de wifi adapter op aangesloten, zou je mij dit haarfijn kunnen uit leggen ben zeer geïnteresseerd geworden! Ben benieuwd… groetjesss
Hé Jordy, klopt de ene kant zit een SMA connector en de andere kant 1 kerndraad met een buitenmantel. Op deze buitenmantel heb ik een draadje gesoldeerd en op de min gezet van de accu. Het kerndraadje gesoldeerd op de plaats van de originele antenne. De andere kant is dan een SMA connector. Deze kun je direct op je antenne schroeven of op zo’n booster. Op de uitgang van de booster zet je dan een kabeltje die je verbind met je antenne. Succes 👍
@@DavevandeGruiter duidelijk dankjewel, en de kabel die naar de antenne loopt moet dat perce een aparte antenne zijn of kan deze op je huidige antenne van je boot komen te zitten, of zal dat heel erg veel storen met elkaar. Voor mij is het verder geen probleem begrijp dat als je er een nieuwe antenne bij zet dat je wel het beste signaal heb uiteraard! Dankjewel
Hello. I have a question. I am thinking about integrating my deeper pro+ in Boatman actor gps. But actually when the Deeper is integrated it will start working all the time when the boat goes in the water, even if I don’t use the sonar at the moment. It means I will struggle with discharging/ charging issue all the time. How to solve this problem and avoid it? Thanks
Hello youre right. I also have that issue/problem. When my boat is out of the water, some water will drip from the boathull to the sensor and will activiste the sonar. So i always dry the sensor with a towel. I have install a wifi booster on the boat with a switch so im thinking to extend the red wire from the battery of the Deeper and connect this with the switch.
What I plan to do is, similar. To have a power switch only for deeper power supply and it will charge it. The things is that, using the boat in the water will always start the deeper and have to charge it very often. I will put a converter from 7.4v to 5V(usb) for power up the sonar when is discharged. I was just thinking that someone have a solution for that :) What about if there is some find of cover the bottom part of the deeper and sensors contacting the water?

Zolang de pinnetjes het water raken dan werkt het. Maar vanwege de druk vanaf onder heb ik gekozen voor een groter gat zodat de Deeper bij die opwaartse druk de boot in wordt gedrukt.Kans op lekkage is daardoor minder naar mijn idee.

Please see below a full guide on what is needed and how you change the settings to achieve over 200 Meters. You need to buy the below 3 items and have access to a computer to change the settings of the router, 1. www.tp-link.com/…/home-netwo…/wifi-router/tl-wr940n/ 2. www.ebay.co.uk/…/DC-DC-Converter-Char…/193426278279… (Make sure you buy the 9V version) 3. Power bank of your choice. Guide Step 1 - On your computer disconnect from your home network, depending how you are connected you can either turn off your WiFi or take out the LAN cable. Step 2 - Power on the Tplink WR940N router and plug in the supplied LAN cable to LAN port 1 and then in to your computer. Wait a couple of minutes for your router to get a connection with your computer. Some times this is instant and sometimes it will take a minute or 2. Step 3 - Open up your web browser, In my case I use chrome. In the web address bar put in tplinkwifi.net or you can also use 192.168.0.1 this will direct you to a log in screen. Step 4 - Input admin for the username and admin for the password and click login. Step 5 - Once you have logged in navigate to the left hand side of the screen and click on working mode, then change the working mode to range extender and click save. It will then ask you to confirm the selection and warn you that the router will reboot. Press ok and wait for the router to reboot. Step 6 - Once the router has finished rebooting you will be faced with the login screen of the router again, input admin for both username and password and login again. Step 7 - Once logged in navigate to the left hand side of the screen and click wireless, once wireless has been clicked you will be on the "connect to network" screen. Step 8 - Power on your echo sounder, In my case I'm using a deeper pro +. I have placed the deeper in a bowl of water so it powers on you can also unscrew the top and connect a power cable which also keeps the device on. Once your device is powered on go back to your computer and click the survey button. Step 9 - Once you have pressed the survey button a new window will appear and it will come up with all networks in range of your router, click connect next to the device you want to extend. This will then take you back to the connect to network screen and the SSID and MAC address will have been filled. You then need to go down to the password and change to the password that is needed for your device, for my deeper its 12345678. Then click save and wait for 30 seconds whilst the settings are saved. Step 10 - Navigate to the left hand side of the screen and click extended network, add "_EXT" to the end of the SSID and click save. Wait another 30 seconds for the settings to be saved and then click off the internet browser. Step 11 - Search on your phone/tablet for the extended WiFi network with "_EXT" on the end. Both SSID's will show up but you need to connect to the extension network to achieve the extended range. You then connect to the relevant app as you usually would. Don't forget to connect back to your home network so you can continue using the internet as normal again on your computer. I have listed the routers that has been tested so far below, if you manage to test another router with success please message me and I will add to the list. Please note a lot of routers will work but the steps might vary slightly so I have put this guide up for the TPlink WR940N only. FAQ 1. Does the router go in the boat? No the router stays with you on the bank. 2. Do I need to modify the deeper or raymarine? No modifications are needed, by just using the router you will achieve 200m+, this has been tested to 200m+ but we are quite confident it will go further. 3. What routers is this method compatible with? We have personally tested the below, TPlink-WR940N TPlink-WR841N Edimax-BR6228nS V3 4. Do I need different antennas? No the antennas that come with the router are perfectly fine. 5. Do I need any other extras? No you only need the items listed.

He Edgar, Without the booster the range is about 70 meter but with a bad GPS signal. I have now a range with the booster over the 200 meters and a good GPS signal.

Is zo’n grote gat perse nodig of kan het ook met een kleinere gat aangezien enkel de oinnetjes te water moeten raken?

Hello, why do you need 200 meeters? At 200m I can hardly see my bait boat. How do you fish at ranges like this?
