Photo Editing - 13'' M1 MacBook Pro vs. 27’’ Intel iMac. M1 vs Intel iMac photo editing comparison
Ultimate Photo editing comparison between the 2020 13'' M1 MacBook Pro vs. 27 inch 2020 Intel iMac in Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and more. In this Photo editing comparison between the iMac with a 10th generation 10-core i9 CPU, and Radeon Pro 5700 XT GPU with 16 GB VRAM, and the original M1 MBP with 8 GPU cores and 8 CPU cores, I do real world tests to find out which apple mac is better for Photo editing in Lightroom and photoshop. How does Apples first generation of M1 processors with SOC tech perform against the last, and fastest intel 27 inch iMac. Is the iMac superior, getting the fastest photo editing performance, or is the original, and much cheaper 13 inch M1 MacBook Pro with way less CPU and GPU raw performance enough to get the speeds you want.

you're a fucking legend, thank you so much
This is like the best video example of sony focus modes. They should literally have video manuals like this in the ROM of sony cameras lol. Press the ?/trash button on a setting , and instead of a crude text it should up a video like this.
I'd be curious if you have any updated reviews on the Edelkrone products. Their motorized jibs look pretty amazing.
Great information
So THAT'S what's wrong with my lens. LOL. So funny that you even showed the exact lens that I have that has this problem (Tamron 24-70 2.8 G2)
Mine doesn't seem to have tap to focus im confused
Ok if anyone else has this problem its because its turned off in the settings setup > touch operation > touch function in shooting > touch tracking and it works 😅
It seems to be for video only not for photography which it would be nice if you said that.
Thank you, very well explained video that clarified some doubts I had. Have a nice day.
I just had a very bad experience with Edelkrone. Purchased JibONE v3 + HeadPLUS v3, focus module, vision module, laser module, all of it. Well, nothing works with Android and they offered me an iPhone X. €5,500. honestly, and seeing this lack of professionalism made me very disappointed and I preferred to return. So now I'm back to the top. I really don't know what to choose, I'm afraid of these companies that are very sales oriented. Then the counterweight is not enough for a simple fx3 + 24-70 gm2, and they told me they would send me an extra counterweight. All this should be made clear on their website and instead you can't find anything written. this is very serious for me.
What picture profile and could that have anything to do with this. My guess is yes
So does it matter that the lamp is at an angle in one of the pics? Or are you just looking for blur?
thx brother!
I really liked that Tymek. Thank you. I have an H6 and want to record our band, capturing vocals, acoustic, electric and bass. Do you have any suggestions around distance away from a PA to position the H6 and levels of the XY? Many thanks
Sorry your video is not complex enough could you do other a bit more complicated ? Thank you (sarcasm 😂)
hello, i bump my camera lens on a hard window frame while shooting.. its a sigma 18-50 f2.8 lens.. May I know how to check if the lens was damaged? I tried shooting some image but so far it seems working. Im just a little paranoid since it was a brand new lens.
Thank you so much for this very informative video! Asking you here again to be doubly sure - Is a 60hz 4K monitor good enough for 4K video editing?
I have an issue, and I don't know if it could be the SD card. When I record in any 4K mode or in S&Q at 120 fps, the video looks choppy, as if the shutter speed is low, but it is not. Could it be the SD card? I have a Kodak V90
That was really helpful, thank you! One thing I'd change is to use zebra or false color to test instead of a meter - it's more accurate that way, especially if using LOG, the built-in meter in Sony cameras is not accurate in mixed lighting conditions. Once I stopped using the meter I started getting more accurate results and didn't have to change exposure in Davinci that often. 😅 From my perspective, I initially used 2-5 stops in urban areas but found out that 6-9 is more versatile overall. Assuming we're shooting in LOG profiles which is very likely to do outdoors, because of dynamic range I think 2 and 3 stops are very rare to use, 4 occasionally, and mostly in harsh environments it's something between 5 and 7. I wish we could have 4-7 VND filters, that would be the sweet spot. Given that in many cameras base ISO is 640 or 800, 5 stops tend to be often overexposed in both sunny and cloudy days unless you're shooting in golden hour. In some cameras, you have also a dual base ISO, so in case you need something between 2-4 (assuming that 5 can be switched to 6 after changing a little bit ISO for example), you can always switch to a higher base ISO and then use 6-9 with no issues. Or if it's a matter of a difference between 5 and 6 stops, I'd say it's easier to fix shadows than highlights in post.
Well arent you a toddly little whippersnapper.
They charged me 20 dollars for a replacement belt...
brother.. i have a quick q.. is a 32" 2k monitor good for video/photo editing..? or do i have to go for 4k (far too expensive) at 32"..
D750 is a very enjoyable Camera & besides D780 being without flash, its more desirable for Landscapes.
I have the focus point displaying in my playback, but it does not show on every picture. I took some group photos and there was a white box around the faces when I shot it but no focus point in the playback. Yet, when I shot a single person the focus point (on the eye usually) plays back fine. ? I dont get why some boxes are white and some are green when shooting. Great video - but can you help with this question ?
Very information video
Just bought this camera coming from another system. I'm only amateur. Thank you for short cut explanations very useful indeed 😊
I used it for my gigs and I love how it turns out! 😊
Bro made a definition xD may thanks to you mate <3

Could’ve charged money for this video, thank u 🙏
What's the best gain level for an interview in a noisey environment
Thanks! You doing gods work
Why not do this at your base ISO?
Really excellent and informative video. I've just bought a used N4n Pro (it's August 2024) and I'm very pleased with it. I notice that with my Podmic I can only get the meter up to -24dB and I suspect the H5 would do better. I've found I can boost the H4n Pro/Podmic audio tracks up by about 10-12dB and they still sounds pretty clean in Audacity - so that's okay for me. Had I seen this particular video before buying, I would have chosen a used H5 instead - but for my current needs the H4n Pro does fine. Having said that, the H6 looks really fantastic and that's what I would upgrade to (rather and worrying about newer 32-bit float models.) Tim (a Brit)
Thank you so much for this breakdown. Very much appreciated.
Thank you this video is really useful as a photographer that is having to shoot more video this really does help. I will have to watch it a few more times to truly get it, I just wanted to know if you can shoot flicker free, as often led lighting is causing an issue with branding. Any advice? I am looking at buying the A74 so don't have my hands on it yet. Is there an mp4/mov format?
I'm considering putting a microphone inside of an acoustic stringed instrument and I'm curious of how it would sound.
Wow I've watched so many videos and this is the first one that I found where someone explains the WHY/PROS/CONS in a way that MAKES SENSE. Amazing work!
Hi Tyme, thank you for your videos, it’s nice to have someone like you that is willing to share their knowledge (that is precisely presented and totally clear). Your parents must be proud to be your mentors and have produced such a fine young gentleman like yourself, I feel can make that statement after watching quite a few of your videos, thanks again 🙏
So nice, your choice just like your photography is excellent, wish you both the very best. This is a keeper 🙏❤️👍
Great and super useful video! 👏
Applications will always ask for more than they will use and load code and data they will never use. Those assigned pages being set aside makes more room to improve performance. It will always happen with proactive memory management no matter how much there is. It's still useful to have enough RAM to avoid anything going to storage, esp if an SSD. If it's extremely fast you might not notice a slow down from swapping, but overall endurance of SSDs is going down as bits per cell goes up.
Thank you for a wonderful video of all the settings! Very helpful! Great job!
Truly amazing video! You saved me a lot of money :D Gonna buy just the 2-5 stop filter for my Sony RX10IV.
Scoured the internet for ANY helpful information on explaining these settings, and I finally found this video. You helped me understand everything so much. Thank you!!
Thats a great test video thank you so much! I wonder how to fix a jumpy fast auto focus on an interview I did of a person sitting on a chair and every time he moved slightly the camera tried to refocus super fast and looked horrible this footage was unusable. Thank you
