They are absolutely terrible. after a recent rain I opened the fuel door and observed water pooled on top of the trap door. I had to blot it out with a dry paper towel trying not to push against the trap door. There is no telling how much water has penetrated the trap door.

Yes thank you for this. It happened to my traverse cause it got stuck while pumping gas. Places tell you the entire assembly has to be replaced and that part cost 300 and then labor

It's a nice truck, but a 3.5twin turbo f150 will blow the doors off of that Chevy. Hauls more and just looks way better than what ever Chevy has going on with its side v design. The GMC are better looking than the Chevy's but GM and RAM are just chasing Ford when it comes to these trucks.

That's not a 2024. You should have held out for one with the new instrument cluster and infotainment screen. They're light years ahead of the old style.

I have a later model that has a high operating temperature..( 145)..i got the operating temperature down by cutting the spring to reduce the tension in the poppet valve seat. Now its running in the 120's

my dad was born and raised in ironwood michigan an retired down here to ga. in 1969. he grew up hunting and taught me how as well. He said the venison tasted better down here. He thought it was probably from what the deet ate in the U.P. to get them through the winter....twigs...pine needles....whatever they could find to eat to keep from starving. We don't have bad winters down here. I have had gamey venison that someone else shot and gave away. With the warm...sometimes hot....temps we hunt in, it is esential to gut the deer almost immediately and then quickly get it into a cooler. Do that and you won't have gamey deer

I think the age, sex, time of the year makes a bigger difference in the taste of the deer. I live in South Carolina and I can attest, I have harvested some big old bucks that had a very strong flavor and were pretty nasty. And just about any buck killed during the rut will have a gamier taste to it. There’s nothing better tasting than a 2-3 year old doe. They almost taste like a completely different animal. Luckily we have an abundance of them here and we fill the freezers every year with mainly doe. Any big bucks get used for jerky and the other bucks get used strictly for burger.

Doesnt matter how far north or south. What do they eat. I am from upstate NY. The best deer to eat is a young one. The best rack my husband got was so inedible as to be used mostly for sausage and jerky. That deer came from north of us and ate things like pine cones when things were rough. I lived in a farming community. Our deer were corn fed and tasted mild. It depends on their diet and age but mostly diet. We never bother with deer away frim home after that. Chops were the best.

I'm gonna say depending on area yea. Some taste like sage brush and I can tell u Michigan deer taste amazing. They eat fruits, nuts, corn and soybeans here. That's why they get bigger also. Southern deer are like dogs in size

Not related to the issue in this video but I have a very similar motor. Does your motor “pee” right away when you start it? Mine takes a few minutes and the water coming out is very hot. I was told the impeller was changed when I bought the boat but I’m not fully convinced. Thanks!
