wow, great tips. i didn't know many of them. thx.
Great tips! Quite a few I didn’t know about. Thanks!
No problem! Glad you found some of them useful!
Been using a Mac for 2 years and didn't know I could pin folders like that in Finder 😮
It took me 4 years to realize it so you’re doing better than me!
Great video and thanks for sharing these tips.
No problem! I hope they were helpful!
Very interesting, thanks bro
No problem, I hope it helped!
What are some of your favorite Mac Tips/Shortcuts? Let me know!
Goodnotes has a far, *far* superior note taking experience. The only reason i use Apple Notes is because the former doesn’t offer note locking (in 2024 no less 🙄). AN’s a bot disorganized if you’ve used Notability or Goodnotes. And that PDF experience is just… tragic.
Notability and Goodnotes offer some great features but it's unfortunate that so many of them are hidden behind a subscription. Still great apps though!
Great video and straight to the point. New sub here!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice video. I am moving into a iPad OS only after giving my wife my M1 MB Air, and I’m okay with an iOS OS for my use case. Moving into an iPad only space I’m debating the 11” or 13”? The 13” is attractive from the screen real estate. I’ve been to the Apple Store and the 11” is ultra mobile and global as you already know. If you were doing it all over again would you go 11” or 13” ?? Liked & Sub’d
Glad you enjoyed the video! And honestly if I were to do it again I think I would stick with the 11”. I travel a lot with my devices and I really enjoy the smaller form factor. But if you don’t mind a slightly larger device then the 13” is a fantastic option! I honestly don’t think you can go wrong either way. Hope this helps!
Great video. I upgraded from the 12.9 M1 to the 13 M4 and love it. I’m a digital artist using Procreate, so was most interested in the Pencil Pro features that were not available on the M1. I did get my first Magic Keyboard and like it way more than I thought (I had the Logitech combo on my M1). I’ve found the sound is better on the M4 over the M1. The display difference is there, but would not have been enough to get me to upgrade, but I do appreciate the deep blacks and brighter capability.
Glad you enjoyed the video! The new Apple Pencil is definitely geared towards creatives and artists such as yourself. I think eventually I may upgrade myself!
Could you do a video of your iPad Air and MacBook pro work flow and how you use them differently and together, thanks
Sure! I can definitely work that into a future video!
Helpful. Music unnecessary and irritates.
Glad you found it helpful! I’ll be more mindful of the music going forward!
great video
Hope the move was an upgrade. Congrats! Also, great video.
Thanks! The move has been great and I’m glad you liked the video!
Liked & Sub'd keep the real-life user content coming
I love the notes app! FYI your filter blowing out the contrast in a few shots of the screen. Check your shots bro and use a lower strength filter when the light source is gonna blow your blacks. Otherwise dope video!
I agree 100%! I’m still very new to video recording/editing but I appreciate the advice!
Fantastic video from an avid Notes user. I refuse to pay for a subscription when the native app works better. The real question is how the hell do you only have 55 (now 56) subscribers? Keep up the great content. I’m a full-time iPad Pro user so I’d love to see iPad productivity videos.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the video and thank you so much for the kind words! That is one of the best compliments that I can get as a creator!
Definitely not better in nearly every category, but if you don’t need a lot, then it works well
I think another con to Apple Notes is that all your devices need to support newer operating systems if you want good cross-device functionality with all the latest features. #Tags for example don’t work on older Macs which is annoying when you use it on a different device where it does work. So I guess in a way Apple pushes you to buy new devices after a while to be able to have the latest OS.
I agree 100%! One of the reasons that I upgraded my MacBook is because I couldn't download the newest version of Mac OS on my older one.
So there is a way to add subfolders within a folder...the way to do so is by creating a new folder altogether & actually dragging the folder into the folder you want to add it to. I hope that this helps.
Thanks for the tip! But I was actually referring to smart folders. I like the idea of smart folders but I feel like they have some limitations. Hopefully it’s improved in the future! Thanks again!
@@AngelKelley7 ohhhh I get what you're saying. My apologies. I get what you're saying. That can expand a more resourceful flow with Apple Notes. I'm really trying to work harder on using the resources I have.
Ohhhhh. Smart folders. I failed as a commenter. My bad.
Adding documents to notes is that possible ?
Yes! You can share a document to your notes. Once it is shared you should be able to access that document in your notes whenever you need it. Hope this helps!
I use Notes everyday. The bullet capability really helps me to “simply” keep track of ongoing tasks.
Don’t forget Siri to open Notes or Quick Note.
Yes! Siri is another good option. I just find Siri to be a little lack luster at times but I hope the new IOS 18 update makes her a much more useful voice assistant!
