I have a 1991 and it takes 7+ quarts. Only explanation I have is , 6 quart pan+factory oil cooler+large filter? anyone eleses take this much?

Maisto made a good model, everything looks pretty accurate, but in my opinion the headlights are made much smaller than on the real beetle. The engine detailing is also very simplified. Otherwise everything was done pretty well!

I bought a nice 71 gtx.At a diecast store. .The door fell off while i opened it. Not sure if it was broken before Or was it too old of a model

This model has a major defect. It is missing One of the main reasons that made a lot of us fall in love with the car. The raised rear and larger rear tires!!! NO ONE at green light notice that!?!?! It's even on the damn box that they ship the product in!!!! This model gets a red light not a green light!!!!

I like those generation Chevrolet & GMC fullsize pickups. The real ones were produced from 1967 through 1972 & were the last to only come in plain cabs.

We have this and Greenlight's Mount Prospect police cruiser before it was put on Auction. Alas, it's slightly inaccurate in the the 'Protect and Serve' bit on the front fenders was replaced by 'Mount Prospect Police'. The rear window was shot out by the Good Old Boys after the Blues Brothers left their first gig at Bob's Country Bunker (we play both kinds, Country •and• Western!). Also, the cigarette lighter needs fixed...

Now I noticed like anybody else there's a little problems here and there but nothing major on the car. But overall I like the car. Well for one thing, I like the color purple. Purple and black is my favorite color. I noticed the driver side window was a bit difficult to raise up. And it wouldn't go down. A little glue residue on the front side bumper. But I like it. Nice car to me overall.

These ACME 442s use an old Exact Detail mold. On those versions, the headrests could be raised and lowered and the shifter was moveable. Not sure if these ACME versions have these features.

Incase anyone was wondering every first gear side load garbage truck arm does not work it just comes that way(i guess its not meant too) But they're is a way to modify it but unfortunately you have to pull one of the hydraulic arms out of the socket to make it dump all the way.

The turn signals are found on the post between the door and back side window. They would flip out like arms when used.

got a black one with box unfortunately some cracking on the clear plastic of the box but im thinking of selling it , what did you pay for yours and would you have an idea on pricing if you were to sell?

I just bought an 1/25 "Christine" plastic kit by AMT from an old man (sounds kind of familiar? ;-) and your video will help me a lot to correct some of the flaws of my model! BTW the lighting wires do really look terrible and should be re-routed...

There's going to be parts maybe broken or not exactly perfect so to speak that's the nature of the Beast and our hobby there's always going to be situations where shipping these boxes will be wrapped up in the contents will be knocked around perhaps broken or even damage so we can always have everything perfect.. I have a Yat Ming 1/18 lime green convertible 1970 Super Bee. Not at good or abundant quality wise but still a very nice piece for my collection.

She thinks my garbage truck sexy, it really turns her on...
