Welcome to the official TH-cam page for the Lake County Water Resources Department. The Lake County Water Resources Department is responsible for the preservation, health, and growth of Clear Lake, the largest natural lake in California.
In order to promote an environmentally and economically healthy watershed, the Water Resources Department is identified by two main branches: Lakebed Management and the Watershed Protection District. These branches manage all our programs and projects that work toward the goal of sustainable watershed management for Clear Lake.

My heart is so full and Inspired by this video. The amount of Information I learned is the most I have learned watching any documentary in the 26 years I have lived here. As a professional in the community and a county employee I have proposed this video as an opportunity to learn about our county and our county's rich culture by viewing this during one of our cultural trainings. Further, I would be willing to support as professional and a resident an annual "Pick Primrose Day" to improve our Lakes health and to facilitate responsibility and ownership of my part to preserve this beautiful county inwhich we live in, together ❤️
This is such an interesting and encouraging video! I learned so much about my favorite lake. I didn't see any mention of how the invasive carp stir up the bottom sediment. But maybe it's just not as important an issue as redeveloping the Middle Creek wetlands area. Thank you.
Too many fishing tournaments are stripping the lake of bass. But wow what a wonderful group of people caring for our home.
Bass are actually invasive to our lake as well as Carp
