nah, i actually like the remix of at the end of spring, one of my favourite stage 1 themes

@@x-nimator9997 I also love that song, but "At the end of spring" doesn't fits to the game even a bit. In comparison to Seiran and her remix of her stage, the *ambience* of Nazrin in this game just sucks. Not only because her stage is literally all the opposite to the song feeling (a dark cemetery with a happy and adventurous song) but also because Nazrin boss theme was clearly a better choice to the ambience, not only to her stage in this game (the cemetery) but also to the game ambience in general.

You said you don't dislike the song and want to describe it with music theory and analysis -- fair! I am actually a music theory expert, and I absolutely love conversations like this. 1. It changes keys only once, and it's not during the intro. Moreover, to this day it's debated what key Kogasa's theme (Beware The Umbrella Left There Forever) is composed in due to the number of modulations in the intro and verse sections. 2. The slowdown-speedup is used in the exact same way in Yokai Hook-on. This is where I got the idea to use it, actually. If you've identified/interpretted multiple key changes, I'd actually be fascinated by that -- could you list the chords you're hearing? What I composed is: (In the key of Gmin) Intro: I(maj) - bIIb5 - vii (min) - VI9 - V(maj) ii7 - V(maj)/III - IVb5dom - bii7/VI This builds up to a true root of i7, which is practical for the following simple chromatic descent, and sets up the verse section's very simple and diatonic i - VI - #vii(dim) progression (used many, many times in PC98 touhou games and in the title theme of WBaWC). The only time I used a modulation was in the bridge section, using an extremely stereotypical major pivot turnaround -- ZUN has done this in numerous songs, but it's easiest to hear in a song that just jumps between two keys frequently like A Flower-Studded Sake Dish on Mt. Ooe.

@jasonavarlarka7170 yeah no offense thos is just a genre thing but half the time the melody doesn't really go anywhere lol There is no song in WBaWC that does that, if that makes sense
