Con 800€ in Albania e con 70% dai giovani 20-49 che parla italiano è più facile ! In piccole cita come a Kukes HAS Puca (Puka) Dibra Peshkopia Permet Korçq etc etc puoi trovare tutta casa in affitto dal 60-130€ mensile , Aqua e energia elettrica (in Albania non c’è gas per cucinare ma si usa hidroenergia) e quindi Aqua e energia da 20-40€ mensile , e con 700-900€ al mese un pensionato vive benissimo ! Per esempio un direttore del settore Publico albanese prende 600€ al mese , un medico prende 850€ mese quindi un pensionato italiano o europeo con 800-1000€ prende la paga che prende un direttore in Albania che è un posto al alto , paga minimale in Albania e 34,000 lek (280€) quindi se due persone prendono 280x2= 560€ tutti a due e vivono e se fossi con 800 oppure 1000€ fai una bella vita e costo di sanità è facile e più veloce ! Prova fare una visita 3/4 giorni in Albania e puoi decidi ! Buon viaggio !

Hello. I hope to come albania next month. i need know should i buy actual return ticket or dummy ticket when i get short term visa
Usually, it depends on the airlines. Don’t use a dummy one. The airline has a system to check the ticket reservation (they caught me once, lol). A bus/train ticket is fine too or buy the cheapest flight to another country. I took a bus to Albania, so I didn’t encounter that problem. Enjoy your trip! Albania has a lot to offer.

Have a question, there u can pay everywhere with euro? Couse I don’t know if I must exchange in euro or Albanian money 🤷♀️
I once paid with euro for a coffee, but I’m not sure you can use it everywhere. My suggestion is to exchange just enough amount of money that you need to lek. Hope this helps

Changed since 93 when my friend & I travelled through Albania for two months. Such a desperate place at that time. Dangerous. But my Albania neighbours here in London say it has improved almost miraculously. The EU has given a lot of help it seems. When we were there there was a lot of food aid from the EU, on the stalls, in the shops.
