We installed a five burner model. It’s fantastic! Unrivaled value add!!! No danger with kids touching the stove. Unmatched ease of cleaning. Food prep can be done directly on the cooktop. If you don’t like the controller use an App in your phone.
He made the sticker disappear too 😅
Bugs Bunny holes
The controller needs an upgrade, it is left in the past very basic/ retro and not in the good ways we normally like. Prefer, think striking a match at a camp fire graphics similar to playing games on a touch pad etc because looks like there’s difficulty incorporating newest technology.
So many naysayers, I guess they are typing their responses on typewriters and riding horses....
Installation manual says you definitely should not install control panel in the countertop… so which is it?
It’s invasacook the cooking counter top it must be
That controller kills me... a science project in a drawer with loose wires. A nice remote you can stick anywhere how about it?
I think the controller slide to the front of the and you use those draw limiters to stop the draw from opening fully. This hides the wires.
What are you talking about with cast iron getting too hot? It's got waay more thermal mass than sheet steel cookware. The cooktop has got certain maximal power output. Having to heat more material defknetely wont make it go too hot
The word "important" has a "t" sound in the middle and at the end. It's not "impor-nd"
What's the price? I've seen many websites offering the product but there are no information aboyt the orice
Why are none of the questions being answered? Seems like a lot of potential customers are waiting for responses? Typical customer service for this company?
Every thing sticks with this pots 😭
Would this system be suitable for use in a motorhome or RV. ? Would you be able to test a two burner option? If possible and the price is right there is a massive market out there
Completely lost me at the control panel.. that’s way too much.. can’t I just have a dial for each burner?
Is 12 mm the thickest granite that this unit can be installed under? Around North Carolina the granite slabs are 1.25" thick.
You are installing on porcelain - man made not granite which is natural.
very cool
This is a pretty cool bit of engineering and I really like it. Unfortunately, You really need to improve on The user experience side. The touch panel is very unfriendly, and I think, is the weak leak of your product. I understand that you want to keep costs down but at north of $3,000, The user experience should be a primary focus.
Oh shoot the no cast iron just killed that idea.😢
Can it be installed under wood?
No
This is so cool!
I got one for over a year now, and doesnt work..... First of all only gets a small pan hot. once you cook for 4 people, the coils are simply to small to heat a larger than small pan. as soon as you move the pan a little, it starts beeping. The lower settings dont fry anything, so results in looong cook times that destroys the food (cooking fish instead of frying it). I have high quality pans, both stick and non stick, and ALWAYS use the invisa mat. So give a demonstration with a larger pan, from cold pan to ready to fry. Then we will talk again. For now, a huge and costly letdown on my new kitchen. I wish i stayed with gas, or anything else. Also no response from support.
What does this cost?
$2600 for a 4 burner
@@fredrik2433 Do you know the price on the 2 burner unit ?
@@jimjones7821 it's on their website, a google shot away. I think it's something like 4b=2.6k, 3b=2.2k, 2b=1.9k, 1b=1.6k

It sounds like the cast iron on the invisacook would be a good option for making good Neapolitan pizzas!
Can be installed under quatiz countertop?
no
how about sintered stone? @@Therealchee
@@nathanfitamantnothing natural like stone marble or granite if I remember correctly
This unit can only be installed on a porcelain countertop ONLY???
@@RaulGarcia-qv5kgcorrect,
The porcelain gets installed directly above the cabinets? No plywood or any other material below the ceramic?
Wow! I love this!
Ty for the videos. The music and sounds in your productions are a bit offputting to me. It always seems annoying:-(
What type vent hoods are needed? There doesn't seem to ever be a vent hood.
Cause this is just a fake demo kitchen in a studio :P any hood would work does not matter
Cast iron would get 600°C 😵😵😵😵
Where can i order mine? Also, does it come with different porcelain top colors?
1) How to center the pan on the induction coil? 2) Is this as energy efficient as a regular induction cooktop, or some energy is wasted because of the poor magnetic permeability of the countertop slab? 3) How to minimize staining of a granite countertop due to spills or splatters of oil/soy sauce etc. when cooking with this?
Great for in-laws suite having a single or double burner option. I would skip the presets- I never even use the presets in my microwave(not my style) but knowing that if someone forgets to turn off etc- this is much safer. Also the cool to touch feature 🙌🏻
So how do you boil water?
Where we can get
Love the minimalism look of this, and I can just imagine how easy it will be to clean your cooktop area. However, that interface of the control panel looks super complicated and outdated. Looks more like something they were trying to invent when the first digital clock came out. Are you serious at this day and age with technology, this is what you came up with on the control panel????????. Also since this cooktop is install under the porcelain slab, how do you get the unit out for repair if something goes wrong? Can you explain about the installation too?
Question: you said not to use cast iron in a previous video but the video with Chef Chris cooking a steak, it looks like he’s using cast iron, no?
I’m confused, you said don’t use cast iron but one of your videos with Chef Chris cooking a steak looks like he’s using cast iron.
Doing my new kitchen in 2 months, where can i buy this? Live in Jacksonville, Florida
This is too cumbersome.
Can it be installed under a concrete countertop with the proper depth and no metal reinforcement in an outdoor kitchen?
Not a fan of digital (simple analog has less to go wrong and cheaper to replace) and can just see something happening to those mats.
This is a cute concept for those that despise their stove having a stovetop. Personally, I don't mind the room that I cook in looking like a kitchen, complete with stovetop and all. But that's just me. Is you don't want a stovetop in your kitchen and prefer the look of just a countertop all around, this could be a way to go. But to me it seems too inconvenient: having to dig out the mats every time you want to cook, then having to play duck-duck-goose to find the exact cooking spot, opening drawers to find the controls, etc. For me it's not worth all those extra steps. Plus, as others have stated, I love my cast iron cookware and if I can't use my favorite cookware, this is not the stovetop for me! But this would work great in a kitchen of someone that never cooks anyway.
Its a super cool concept that will appeal to a niche base. For me its just not "there yet" but I'll be looking forward to the evolution of this technology.
Sure seems like a YOU problem :P
nice but music is soooo annoying.
I think the company needs more visual cues on where the cooktop surfaces are. The controller in the drawer looks gimmicky and the controller itself is not sealed on the sides. What if it were to get wet and short itself? I love this idea but it is a little intimidating, especially for a vacation home. A few more options to help in orientation and use would be great. Cool idea, though… I wish I could use Le Creuset cookware on this top as you can with other induction tops. Unfortunately, I am heavily invested in this cookware line and cannot see replacing these beautiful and well made pots and pans.
Which company porcerlain big slab use ?
I love the concept, but i have invested so much money into my staub (cast iron) cookware. Sign me up when its compatible!
That control panel looks like a PITA. That's what will stop us from buying this.
It’s comically bad. Like a SNL skit.
What's a pita ?

Does it matter if the countertop is NOT MARBLE? Also the person who installed the induction stove have the wires from the keyboard inside my draw that will tangle up with my utensils, how can I fix that problem? Finally at 70 years old, do you have a slower demonstration that I can follow step by step using that keyboard in my basement apartment with no ventilation in the kitchen.😢
You can choose a slower playback speed for the video!
