We did and 3 times in 2019

This one was in May 2019, there is orca all year in French Polynesia but it’s rare to see them, even during the whales season you need to be really lucky to get the chance to see them. Last year at least 3 or 4 times they have been seen around Bora and the last one was two weeks before Christmas.

@@tohoraboraborasnorkelingla9675 thanks for your reply. So lucky you had the opportunity to see them! I'm heading to Vancouver to hopefully see them in August and was looking at stopping in Bora Bora had no idea they could be seen there also 🤗

@@rheavine1455 you’re welcome. I saw them 3times in 2019, I swam with also. It was a dream, i am the first in French Polynesia who swam with them , nobody did it before ! 😉 You have to come at the whales season (august to November) if also you want swim with humpback whales ; come and join us 😉

I hope that one day you will have the chance to observe them and why swim with them because it is an exceptional moment and it is to live, I had the chance in 2019 to be able to do it 3 times and it was happiness every time!

Indeed the Polynesian waters are magnificent whether in the ocean but also in the lagoon! And the luck is that the water is crystal clear

How would an orca know that they are all bones and no meat? Your comment makes no sense. Most fish in the sea and seals are mostly meat, so what makes you think an orca seeing a human in the water thinks it doesn't have meat on it?

It was a Dream for me, the weather was perfect, the water so clear, with my son and friends an amazing expérience !

There are 0 documented cases of orcas attacking humans in the wild. There have been orca trainers who have been killed by orcas at SeaWorld though. Orcas do not belong in captivity!

@@tohoraboraborasnorkelingla9675 You're welcome. We have, just like a lot of other people, the same thoughts. Let orca's live in their natural habitat. After all this is the most normal way for them. No orca's in captivity !!

Just like some other people I also have something on my mind for years. Some people are so lucky. So, if I will ever have the opportunity to swim with orca's I will not hesitate for a single moment. I don't think it's something strange for a human to try to achieve something you really like to happen. And I love the Orcinus Orca so much.

I missed a pod of 11 orcas last Saturday because we are confined here in Polynesia, what sadness !!

Don’t need to see a movie like Orca that is a stupid movie like jaws and Blackfish speaking about poor killer whales who were taken of the ocean to be close inside an aquarium to small for them and felt crazy just for the pleasur of human !!!!

Orca is a movie. Fake. Blackfish is sbout orcas who suffered. Wild orcas are curious snd friendly. Search for videos "swimming with irvas"

Je ne sais pas ce qui a été le plus stressant le déco (côte Trou) ou l’attero sans radio mais j’etais confiant de toute façon fallait atterrir et j’entendais bien Yohann qui était au sol même si je ne captais pas ses signaux « miroir «. Pour un premier vol j’ai eu la totale mais qu’est ce que c’est bon d’etre en l’air même si nous ne sommes pas des Piafs 😉
