    Any advice for how to finish a board without adding a layer of glass? Or any specific advice for doing this on an epoxy board? Thanks!

    • @kylemeloy6049
      @kylemeloy6049 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You dont have to glass if your board is already water tight and surf ready. A fill and hot coat over epoxy is sufficient!

    Beautiful. How do you design the frame and convert to 2D drawing? What do you use for the software?

      Back then i used auto cad only to do my frames! Now I use Shap3d

      Kyle Meloy thanks. I’m wanting to make a gift for a friend. I’m wanting to make a cute miniature surfboard and put some hooks or nobs in it.

    Nice work! I have red cedar at my folks place and a chainsaw lumber rig! I have also shaped a balsa board so this is right up my alley. Thanks taking the time to video the process.

      gulfsurfco you absolutely should! Would love to see what you build!! Red cedar is super dense so id go as thin as possible on deck, like 1/8” almost!

    Looks absolutely beautiful. Do you have any detailed videos of the final product, showing the rocker and rails from different angles? I'd love to see more on how it rides too!
