Motivation Vs Discipline

as I have gotten older and more serious about my goals I had to learn how to decipher the difference between motivation and being disciplined. I also thought since I wasn't motivated in the moment that it meant I didn't have to follow thru with my actions, however that was no way to get towards my goals. being disciplined was the answer to all my problems.
