I'm glad it helped! I honestly ran into it by accident - I launched one of the exploding flowers at him and noticed it burned off some hair : and then I ran with it. Someone commented that you only have to do the hair on his mane. Might be able to try that - because the leg hair is a pain to get.

@@Piknim huh, I couldn't get the spot to appear on his neck until all the fur was gone.

@Stryftek my guess would be something else was missing, for me it was the tail crystal since I didn't know it was a separate lighter shade. The rest of the tail looks like the spikes on the side of the head which are not breakable. For other people the chin crystal is probably the easiest to miss.

The magic really helps pull it together! Use liberally!!!

There are a few fast travel points, but they basically get to to the area. Each area is just about the right size. Small enough to be memorable but large enough to be interesting. They also give some really fun traversal options if you look at 08:02. I used that spell A LOT to move around.

Hrmm - I can't seem to think of any in recent memory that took on this style. Either way - its a ton of fun!

Not yet but it’s been on my radar. From what I’ve seen it definitely captures the “slapstick” element you mentioned! Indy is generally pretty serious but needs to improvise every so often to survive.

Very much reminded me of the Uncharted games. Guessing Uncharted pulled lots of inspiration from Dr Jones.

TRUTH! Combat, gameplay, story, all of it is miles ahead of Steller Blade. One day I'll review Nier.

Ooo! Great question! Its nicely spaced horror - meaning there are lots of moments of calmness too. I think there is 1 or 2 chase sequences, and maybe only 4 jump scares. It is far more story oriented with some unsettling / scary moments in it. Their steam page says : "This game contains intense scenes. It is not recommended for those with weak hearts." - so intense may be a better way to describe some of those moments. DDLC put this on their steam page : "This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed." - DDLC is far more twisted. While I do understand the sentiment (I've been around the block a few times at this point)- it's really bad in the Jungeled areas. Even if you drop all the graphical settings. It is very distracting. Non jungle areas are fine.

Totally agree. I would of loved more content. And the guitar work was good too! I would've just sat there and listened for a good while!!

I know, right?! This game has a TON of makeshift weapons - just a beat ago a beat a guy with basically a feather duster.

Pretty sure I'd bust a hole in my wall if I used that on a fly.

Its a balancing act. Parry is 100% better and more useful - but also FAR harder. Against Bosses PARRY is the way to go. Dodging, while far easier - doesn't give you as much benefit. To get the "true endings" you will need to be come a parry master.

@Stryftek shi*********. That would be my guess coming from souls games but I'll be honest. Not exactly what I want to hear haha. The more I play this game though the more I am intrigued by it
