    My kids & I went about a week ago (didn’t think anything was real just was trying to scare my teenagers) we went about 10pm it was pitch dark. I went through once & turned around nothing happened then when I went through again I stopped in the middle and put my fog lights on (didn’t want to wreck with them out) and our windows down when I stopped we heard a distant woman scream then when I went to take off my steering wheel locked up completely to where I could barely drive. I somehow managed to get us home safely. I’m telling the kids it’s probably just out of steering fluid. Turn the car off and pop the hood and it’s literally full. Start the car again and it’s perfectly fine. It has never done that before or since so I’m not sure what happened but I wanted to scare the kids but instead terrified myself 😂 now I’m trying to figure out if anyone else has had this happen!

    Bro I believe there's some bad stuff over there for real. I got followed by some random person back in like 2015 . Luckily I dodged him but could have been an attempted robbery/murder I don't know why he followed me. I also saw a large trash bag in the woods before. Could have been a body, who knows. It's a shady area with greenlawn cemetery down the road and homeless drifters. I wouldn't recommend it after what happened to me.

      @@ghoulscouts you're welcome. Thanks for the great video. I found it interesting when the lady said that she kept feeling like someone was behind her because when I was walking the trail one day something prompted me to turn around for some reason. When I did I saw a guy I passed previously on the trail standing still and staring at me from about 30 yards, where we passed each other. I got chills when I saw him.and wondered how long he had been watching me. At the time I thought it was an undercover officer that caught on to the fact that I had smoked some bud in the woods just before we passed each other. I wanted to lose him so I dipped down by the woods that lead to the river and waited there, staring above at the trail to see if he would actually follow me. Not long after he actually did ,to my surprise. I was far enough from him I didn't think he'd be able to know where I descended into woods at and I didn't think he'd actually come down after me but he did. When I saw him come down, I quietly and quickly walked back up to the trail, then jogged over to the softball field where there were more people. After it happened, I felt less like it was an plain clothes ranger/officer and more like someone trying to rob me or maybe worse. Strangest experience in my life. It was like it was meant to be for me to turn around when I did. Like there's no reason I would have done that unless there was some deeper sense or power that guided me. If I didn't turn around when I did, who knows if the guy would have snuck up behind me and did something. It creeps me out to this day thinking about how he watched me like a predator as we passed each other on the trail. Kind of reminds me of what happened to a woman on the scioto trail this summer.

    I remember doing the Castle of Terror Walk at Extreme World many years ago. I was barefoot because I had removed my shoes and stashed them in the car, to do the Terminal Velocity and other rides there. But they let me in no problem. The ground was very smooth underfoot and I felt that I had better traction that way. From my childhood I remember the story of Theseus entering the Labyrinth to slay the Minotaur and that is how I felt a bit.

    Great watch Grant and Brad, I enjoyed listening to your reaction. I couldn't help but notice your understandable confusion for this movie and ultimately why people like myself enjoyed it. First I'll explain briefly why most people enjoyed it, it's the very eerie, unique, atmospheric dream-like Nightmare on Elm Street style of a movie drawing them in. As for myself it was more the meaning and plot behind this film. The whole movie (up until the very end when Mike wakes up) was a dream, the result of Mike's grieving mental state coping with the loss of not only his parents but also his brother who died in a recent car wreck, all while trying to conquer the fear of being pursued by the anxiety of death (The Tall Man) and abandonment, so The Tall Man appearing in Mike's room is telling us Mike never conquered his fears. And that's it! Really. The meaning behind this film is quite simple, I didn't get it on the first watch either hahah, it just takes a couple re watches and you begin to pick stuff up, like Tommy at the beginning is just a replacement for Jody's death. Bias aside the pacing can be very weird and feel out of place, but because of some producing issues the film had to be cut short of some scenes that would have given more context. (the movie was originally 3 hours long) The sequels go more into what The Tall Man really is, I could go on if you like but this comment is already long enough haha.

    • @ghoulscouts
      @ghoulscouts 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for listening man. I was confused at some points. Brad loves this movie and has seen all of the sequels. I have yet to venture down that path. I had no idea it was that in-depth. I appreciate it!

      There were originally 250 recognized burials at this site. That whole hilltop plateau was originally the settlement of (long since abandoned) South Union. The last burial was in the 1930s. The church was located at the corner with discarded gravestones. Where the road curves right from the cemetery, there was once a primitive schoolhouse where it dead ends. WW1 troops used to do training exercises all over the hillsides below the cemetery. I once found an indian grave near the schoolhouse area.

I grew up playing there and was in it often. I’m a descendant of Patterson who is the man on the monument. He owned the land that is the park and that’s why it’s called Patterson park and Patterson tower. The bars were only recently added when kids climbed up and into the slit windows. Peggy wasn’t holding those bars. There used to be an iron gate as the door.

      Greg did ask if Ron was there and there was no response. I think he left Peggy high and dry!

    was the light inside the casket bright white? I witnessed a similar thing in a cemetery, saw a bright white light the size of a peson move from left to right, and disappear in front of our eyes. (my friend saw it too.)

      According to Greg, the light was very bright and glowing bright then dark. Like a pulse.

    Nobody lives there. Every so often you'll see someone mowing the grass. It used to have a for sale sign in front of the house until recently. Also that blue chevy car has been sitting there for like 20 years

      Well, that explains it. We were pretty confused and also worried about trespassing.

    It’s pronounced Tusc-car-aw-was. I grew up and went to school about 5 miles away. The story is a warlock is in the grave. No one has ever come up with a documented reason why a warlock is buried there. The stones are in the grave so people could no longer lay down in the grave (broken outer stone pieces). The local story is if you lay in the grave (pre filler stones) and your the same height something bad would happen to you. A high school friend allegedly was nearly run over in a freak car out of nowhere scenario the night she was the same height as the inside length of the stones. The stones were placed in the grave to keep people out of the cemetery mostly high school kids. Likely it’s all local lore. We used to go up there in 1983,4,5 and party and piss on the grave as an Inebriated dare. It’s mostly just crap kids made up. It’s the grave of Ransom Newton, I just found out it’s actually someone’s grave, the rest is BS, made up local legend.

      I am related to Ransom Newton. He was my 3 great grandfather. As the story goes thru the family he was a respected man. He owned the land and donated it to the church that was there.
