I have the table and mat and haven't had any issues... but I ONLY use the heating mat on a medium setting. When I used the high heat in the past it warped my heating mat and it had to be replaced. New subscriber. I've been thinking about getting the halloween lantern and now that I see it's size, I think I will get it. Thanks!

I just poured this mold and I was stumped. I did 2 1s and 2 2s... but now I guess I need 2 more blank ones. Dang- it should've come with instructions, don't ya think?!!! The pics on Amazon were very deceptive, because we end up with THREE blocks, not 2, as 😊those pics showed. I'm a little bummed. I was going to make them as Christmas gifts. 😢

Get some liquid silicone

I think you're only supposed to pour the "outline" of the panels, not fill the whole thing up (I hope that makes sense)

I'd use battery operated tea lights in the lantern .eta nevermind! The red glitter cat is so cute!

It would be very pretty outlined in gold paint pens.

I also see other resin artists use paper mats on top of their heat mats to keep them clean of drips, powders and glitter. ❤

Try gorilla glue between the tare

Maybe some silicon cocking will fix the mold

It is very pretty! I’m wondering if a bit of gold leaf on the leaves would add a bit of glam. I don’t know why, but when I think oriental with red, I always think of gold with it. Are you going to glue the lantern together? As to the ripped one, do you have a bit of silicone to fix it with? That might work the best.

Bazic silicone glue works extremely well for fixing molds! A little dab and let cure a day or two.

Ive the heating mat too. I don't use it on the wood leveling table because I heard it "could " warp the table. Other youtubers use the glass leveling table with the heat mat. The lantern is GORGEOUS and the cats are so pretty. 😍 ❤Gail

It might be a Chinese lantern, it’s currently the Chinese New Year. Red is supposed to bring good fortune and luck. 🤗❤️🤗 I think it came out very pretty.

I have a christmas sleigh mold and have the same problem putting the pieces together.

Not boring at all 😊 If you have liquid silicone, that might glue your mould. I hope you get to fix it as your lantern is lovely ❤

Hi hun! This turned out beautiful! I have the same leveling table and the same heating mat. I have no problems at all using them on top of each other. I do have a silicone mat on top of my leveling table just to keep it safe from resin and heat.. 😊 But this heat mat is AMAZING!!! Saves so much time!

Turned out really nicely. Would the completed snowflakes fit inside something circular so you could back-fill the open space with another resin so you could make them coasters? Would that stick or work? Either way, very pretty!

Heat resistant resin would make these excellent for coffee cups. Very pretty 🤩

Thank you so much for making this video I know that it was frustrating to put together but it will be a big help to me. I bought a few different wind chime kits none of them are what you had made but none of them came with directions on how to put it together and I couldn't find any videos that went step by step like you did they were all about pouring the resin into the molds and what everything looked like after everything was put together so thank you again this will help me so much ❤️

Neat idea for a gift. For the butterfly with the bubbles; have you considered filling in the holes with another colour of resin to see what that would look like?
